This one is more of a mix of bloopers and skits across different eras, but there are a few Muppet Shows clips I thought were funny. Hopefully watching the video brings a smile to someone's face! (I didn't make the video, but sorry if the title card of it puts some people off by use of language...
Just imagine trying to give a simple lesson lecture, all the while inanimate objects are growing, talking to you suddenly, and disappearing. It really is creepy when you think about it, lol.
Thank you for being honest with your thoughts---I know not many people likely would have the courage to speak their mind on something they are passionate about.
Someone did post the video under the thread "September 24: Celebrating Jim and Steve Whitmire." You can find it here, but you might have to scroll a bit before you see it:

Thanks for sharing your experiences regarding Sesame Street---it's great to know it's had such a long lasting, positive effect on people! For me personally, I actually wouldn't have ever gone near anything Sesame Street when I was fairly young; I was actually horrified of puppets. It wasn't...
More outtakes and bloopers. Personally, the segment I found the most hilarious starts at 7:01--Pepe's commentary was spot on during that whole scenario, and then it comes back around at 7:26 when the panic seems to actually set-in for him. It's priceless!
That sounds like it honestly would have been a great special to watch, just the concept itself is a cool enough idea! Sad it never made it through production, but I guess things like that tend to happen behind the scenes.
If you're still having the issue, I've seen that clearing cookies helps for some people---I don't know how effective this is, as others complained the problem came back within a matter of a day.

This one you have to sit through a bit before the actual humor starts, but it brought a smile to my face. For those who don't catch it, at 3:13 a member from the audience yells "tell a joke!"
I like the points you've made, as it reminded me that it tends to be the way of things once shows (of any genre really) ends up building massive amounts of success and a prominent fanbase. They end up focusing on the most obvious icons of the show, thinking the character is the heart of it. An...
I had this dream years ago, so time may have fogged the memory.
There were these clones of Kermits, all with blond wigs and a fully black backdrop. The only reason they were visible was from this spotlight that was on them out of view. I distinctly just remember all of them dancing, and I...
I thought it would be fun to create a thread of any old and funny muppets skits, that way people can post them here for others to watch!
I found this one of Pepe and Topo absolutely hilarious---these guys just seem so underrated!
