What a long and boring bit.

I liked it well enough. The Dragon Dance song was pretty catchy and Grover was easily the best part (I liked the visual gag that the sticky note stuck to his hand read "Stick To Your Goals"). And yes, that was Eric as Oscar. John Legend's song was probably the longest they've done since they...

Also, keep in mind - that Ray Charles alphabet bit was originally done as a solo and they did the whole "Put Down the Duckie" thing of shooting celebs as they came to the studio or their little cameos; hence why all the celebrities in that version are from season 27.

I'm usually too nervous to approach any of them if / when I've seen any SS cast member or puppeteer. I'm lucky I was able to get Caroll's autograph (and a free doodle) at the MOMI screening of his documentary a couple of years ago.

I thought it was nice enough. I would've liked to see Zuzu in much more of the story, instead of a featured cameo pretty much. And Frankie the Worm is back, neat. I'm starting to think that a little Cookie Monster goes a long way. I don't mind that the scale has been tipped and he's more...

Yeah, it's for the ad break. I don't really watch the reviews these days, but I wish he'd come up with a smoother transition; they're kinda clunky.

I can live with seeing them once and never doing so again on my volition.

Half the time, they don't even have anything relevant to say or add, like the person who just bumped this thread.

Oh, and I meant to write this, but Stephanie is killing it as Prairie. But, I feel like that should go without saying.

There was a good idea in there, but I don't think they executed it well enough. It might have been better if it focused more on Prairie and Gabrielle and didn't solve their problem in two seconds. And what's up with Gabrielle? It might be because they don't want to use Segi because she was...

https://www.thejimhensonretrospectacle.co.nz/#2018-04-09 For any of you folks who are New Zealanders, a special three-week event is coming to Wellington this April, with Muppet folks, screenings and a live concert (ala the Carnegie Hall show) hosted by Bret McKenzie. Sounds like a fun!

It's entirely possible that nobody caught it airing until 2007 and assumed it was a new promo.

Well, they shot that in July, well after Season 48 and the Wand Chase special were shot.

They probably just went with a new girl out of respect (I guess) for Joey. Segi was his creation, essentially for his daughter, and it makes sense that he would be the one to create stuff for her, but now that he's gone, eh, make a new girl (at least they could've changed the nose color...

It was alright, I guess. Felt very similar to the "Super Sitters" one from last season, right down to Stephanie playing the poor creature the monsters take care of. Liked the in-joke to Frankie Biondo, though. Foodie Truck was pretty funny this time. And an older EW (with Barkley!). Not much...

Well, let's be honest - Jerry was easily the weakest of the core Muppeteer group when it comes to the actual manipulation.

Probably the best street story of the season, I really liked it. And weird how E&B can see the subway from their window, even though Oscar's area would be blocking that window. "Hey Friend" was a little hard to follow musically and lyrically, but it's still really dam catchy and is probably my...

Well, they've been doing a couple more of these workshops since the 2014 one, just not made open to the public like these have. It's possible if you know the right people, you can make your way into something.

Some folks have apparently herd back from SW about this, so if you submitted something, I'd check your email.
