Ooooooooh ok - yes - i must learn to keep up with my Time Life Emails. There were so many of them saying no, that the one saying yes got skimmed over !

I don't mean to rain on anyones parade here but try to get confirmation on this from Time Life - the last official word from them was that they weren't doing this.

It'll probably be sometime around Feb/March/April 2003

Nobody knows for sure outside of the informed circles, but there definitely are restrictions in the contracts. It's not uncommon when doing these kind of international deals for the smaller company to use smarter, more expensive lawyers in order to keep as much control as possible back from the...

Mike, I've seen a lot of stuff going on at other shows here in the UK. Teams of scalpers working together at shows to get more limited items, other toy companies keeping a supply of items back to auction themselves once they become rare. I guess it all goes on and much more. I guess it's...

Kelly, Depends how many people genuinely bought them to keep, and how many bought them to scalp. If the number being scalped outweighs the number of fans who actually know about this Dr Teeth Exclusive then i guess the price would drop when interest dried up.

Congrats Mar & Michael ! Now i can find every episode of TMS that contained a Penguin, with a few clicks of a mouse button. The stills are cool, the info is cool, the graphics are cool - bottom line - it's a great resource for Penguin lovers everywhere !

Radionate, But Palisades did change/alter their plans for the exclusives - they were going to be different characters from the actual waves and now they'll be repaints and stuff like that. A good company is one that can adapt to the feelings, moods, whims and buying trends of its paying...

Well y'know i went to Munich to kick some tail but i just came back with sausages ! ;-) The Frogboy is right. EMTV paid way over the top for the Henson Company, and even so - are still restricted by all the nifty little clauses the Henson Company had put into the contract. They need to get...

You are welcome at my place anyday Byron - you can stay in the shed and i'll pipe in some atmospheric 'Great Muppet Caper' mood music. It'll be like the Happiness Hotel - i'll even get the dog to serve your food and you can take home a rat as a souvenir ! Luke CEO - El Cheapo London...

Hey Warrick, For the Busts, give this company a call :- Amerang Limited (01903) 765496 They are Sideshows exclusive UK distributor and should be able to sort you out with all the Busts a lot cheaper, these are the people FP buy off so this way you are avoiding their mark up. I doubt...

LOL - yeah thats my completely unofficial media perspective - educated, informed and at no charge - but if we are to believe the official line then my butt can play 'Rainbow Connection' on the Banjo ! ;-)

LOL - aint it great being a Muppet fan - you get to stare at Miss Piggy's snout for hours working out which version looks sexier ! Can't beat it !

Ken, She's a Fox of the Australian variety called Holly Valance - you can check her out at http://www.hollyvalance.net - she's an actress/singer who has a video called 'Kiss Kiss' where she dances naked with strobe lights attached to her erm 'hooters' - download and enjoy ! ;-)

Hi Ken, I totally see your point, and agree with you totally (for once). I'm glad to hear you are helping out those that have been helping and contributing, and i'm sure doing all you can. Thats all we can ask - and I hope people take you seriously next time when you ask people to email in...

Well Michael, being the hotshot reviewer you are I hope you mentioned that the figure looks nothing much like Miss Piggy and more like her ugly sister. As Frogboy said, check out the EB Exclusive with the long hair and you'll see a real Miss Piggy !

Yeah they had this deadline of October but i wouldn't bother believing that - they'll likely hang onto them till mid next year unless they get an offer they can't refuse. Makes more sense to collect the money and then sell, now that the money is actually starting to come in.

Sorry Zack, what i meant was that half a dozen is 6 in the UK but i had actually read Ken's post wrong and took it for half a dozen when it was actually a dozen (12). I wasn't making any statement on where people were located and sorry to everyone for the confusion. Anyway i guess being 6...
