    The Oh-So-Permanent Thanksgiving Thread

I’m just trying to make the best of it in spite of being alone and having nothing but a frozen TV dinner on me as my meal. On the plus side, I’m finishing up an animation I’m making based off one of my favorite Mst3k movies and plan on recording the voices tonight, so I’m grateful for that, as...

The New What Made You Frown Today Thread

Since covid came about, I really miss going to the library. It was like one of my homes away from home. Very peaceful and theraputic. I’m taking complete advantage when I can come back in and relax.

    Questions about anything

Yeah, I really hope you’re doing some research when it comes to pitching shows. It’s not an easy thing in the tv life. You’ll need to be prepared, and have thick skin for that matter.

    Ask CoolGuy Anything!

Nice, even though mine is easily NTV, my first one was “A New Way to Walk” by the Oinker Sisters (I used to have it on tape). The music video certainly blew my mind away.

    The "You know what?" thread

I’m pretty sure “SMV” was made exclusively for “Wet Paint,” given the fact that Sesame Workshop probably knew How Now and his band would be short-lived (after all, their while schtick was to parody then-current new wave rock music videos on MTV, and there’s only so many songs you can do in that...

    The "You know what?" thread

I mean I think the first VJ was just meant to be a generic 80s chick with a sassiness to her. Nora Nicks meanwhile definitely gave off a big Nina Blackwood parody, with her personality and mannerism of speaking.

    The "You know what?" thread

A lot of those 80s music video-styled songs/parodies from 16/17 are likewise some of my go-to SS songs.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

@scarecroe for clarification, since you recently fully-guided episode 2130, is the SMV intro omitted in “Wet Paint” or no? I just want to ask for the sake of knowing if the intro was consistent in initial airings or not (I know further airings by 2240 stopped showing it).

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

All I really care about in regards to the first four seasons are the inserts. The street scenes weren’t that great in all honesty.

I always loved the silent E cartoons..... and how the police officer was just such an easy pushover. 😂

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

While yes I don’t know the full story behind those masks I saw, I see no other reason they would toss them on the ground if they felt they needed a new mask on them (I mean, if you’re carrying one with you to keep yourself safe, why just toss it on the ground? You could always wait till you get...

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

To be fair, there are instances where perhaps they were given masks when coming in to a store (it’s happened before), and then when they come out, they throw it on the ground.

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

I get they’re disposable. What I meant was I can’t help but feel like the people who threw them on the ground have the annoying “I don’t want to wear a mask!!!!111!!!!” mentality. I have seen people throw masks on the ground out of spite. While he may have it more under control, certainly, I...

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

The sad thing is, when going for a walk last night, I saw two masks just thrown on the ground. That sums up our country’s mentality with this virus.

The New Am I The Only One Thread

Here’s the thing. I get what you’re saying, trust me I do, but when I expect a year to be good, it’s usually the opposite. 2017 and 2018 are both good examples. A lot of **** went down for me in both years. I even had the same expectation for 2019. While it certainly wasn’t a crummy year, it’s...
