To me a show can either get better or stale. I find it comes down to network decisions and changing of writers and what have you. Some shows that have lasted 8 and 10 seasons actually got better for me - Regular Show and Mystery Science Theater 3000 fit that category.

Unfortunately only putting up foam on your walls gives better absorption with the sound traveling from your microphone so it doesn’t just bounce off the walls. Sound from next door can unfortunately still creep through.
