I really really want to see the Incredibles--hopefully tomorrow, when my wife gets back from her conference. I may go out to see Ray tonight (if I get enough grading done). That's another one I've been looking forward to, and I'm glad to hear it's so good.

We had a ton of trick-or-treaters. The cutest was a little two-year-old (I guess) girl, who was dressed as Nemo from "Finding Nemo." One of the cutest things I've ever seen. We couldn't stop smiling!

Like many, I would love to see Palisades get this license. I think that Fun-4-All was on the right track with their revised sculpts, but I've just been so happy with Palisades.

I didn't know about this until I saw a thread here a few months ago with a link to a site selling a newspaper ad for Sesame Street that ran in the comics in 1969--it featured Batman and Superman telling kids to watch Sesame Street. Cool!

I had this album on 8-track (!), and the CD released a few years ago is very similar, with a few characters dubbed over for modern continuity reasons. It's still a really cool album to listen to, because it's such a blast from the past--especially the Sesame Street Christmas Pageant that's on...

Absolutely worth watching. I've been a fan since I was a little kid. There's so much imagination on display in this movie, and it's refreshing to see something so different.

Good question--it might be worth checking out the author in a local library catalog. I'd love to read this book, or any others with these characters.

I hear ya. Although I know a lot of people have been happy with it. I'm fine with my glasses and contacts, though, so I'll stick with those.
