I've never really gotten into Letterman, but I'm a big fan of Conan. I started watching his show in its second season, my freshman year of college. I've been to it twice as well, which is great! If you're on the East Coast, go see him in New York before he has to move to LA!

Did you all hear that Conan O'Brien is poised to take over the Tonight Show from Jay Leno in 2009? I love Conan, and I'm glad that NBC has such faith in him. I hope that his comedy doesn't have to change too much for the earlier and broader audience, but he's such a genuinely talented guy...

I really liked the second issue as well, quite a lot more than the first. I thought the first was okay, but the second seemed like more fun. Overall, I like the direction the series is taking.

Ahh, a challenge. I think they can do it--there's enough general goodwill out there for the Muppets that can be tapped into if they are handled right.

I was really happy to see how often they cut back to Kermit and Piggy during the show. They almost seemed to be co-hosting it!

Just for the record, I didn't mean to cause such discord with this thread. I personally am not a fan of Ernie and Bert "gay humor." First of all, it's usually too easy and overdone to be funny. Second, they're asexual children's show puppets. Why do we need to project any kind of sexuality...

I don't think Comedy Central carries the reruns anymore, but I could be wrong. I haven't seen them in the listings recently.

Hey there, What did you guys think of "Joey" tonight? I thought it was pretty good, especially for a pilot episode of a spinoff. There were some things that made me laugh, and I'm sure the characters will grow on me in time. Anyway, just curious to hear what you all thought. :confused:
