New Changes at Sesame Street (Joke Cartoon)

Pretty funny... but Mad Magazine did a funnier bit a few years back.

    Is Cookie Monster no more?

...anal retentive parents that somehow are concerned to a point where they are concerned about their kids, and yet wouldn't lift a finger to actually talk to or take care of them... but I do not want to go their right now. I've said it before, I'll say it again....It's not the cookies they...

Let's say they would make MB DVD's.....

Let's just say they would for the sake of argument. Now, fantasy thinking, I feel I'd want season by season sets. But more practically, I'd see Disney releasing smaller disks for younger audiences. Secondly, would evedrything be in tact? AS of late numerous Muppet DVD's and videos have...

    School bans Sesame Muppet Shirts

It's not so much doing stuff to SS characters that bothers me as this further glorifies gang culture. It's not quite as funny as those poorly photoshopped pics of evil BErt, Ernie and Grover with guns and cheap bad eye brows. I mean, seriously, the gang counter culture has ravaged our nations...

Who do you want to have his or her debut on The New Muppet Show?

Debut, I can't think of... Comeback... Definately needs to be Digit. He was on that Cruise Muppet Party game, after all.

Your Thoughts: Spinney's Lifetime Achievement Award

I know that this is an old subject, but I've been out for a while, so... I felt it was the most disgraceful thing ever. Here we have an internationally beloved television star who for almost 40 years has performed 2 of the most instantly recognizable characters in existance, and they give...

    Sesame Street figure line CANCELLED!

I have heard of this, and the Basic turtles look pretty good... as does Splinter. I mean to collect several I had missed and a few comic specific characters. As for SS... I've given up hope completely. There was a gift certificate I was saving to get them... I spent it on the Super Mario...

TMS Season 2 Box Set - 2007 Release?

I just hope by delaying it thewy can work harder to get some more of the rights to the songs. If we can't get all of them, it'd be nice to have more of them in the can.

Cartoon shows that didn't make it

I thought it would be fun to tell you all a story about several cartoon shows that were being developed, but never aired on television: Rah Rah Woozy ( also known asWoozy State) The last cartoon pilot developed by Jay Ward of Bullwinkle fame. It featured a college football team starring...

    Classic Cartoons Vs. Modern Cartoons

Well, I cannot compare classic to modern cartoons without really going into deep specifics about certian shows. I feel that most animation forms are all wonderful. With that said, I'd like to add a few things to what's been said. I feel Courage the cowardly dog was a much better show than...

    Tony Danza's Talk Show

Honestly, I felt the show was the biggest piece of crap ever. And I LIKE Tony Danza. The entire program was a total embarassment one episopde after another. He felt totally uncomortable about everything, and half the time when a celebrity was about to make a point and tell a good story about...

Old School Sesame coming to DVD October 2006

It's absolutely amazing that so many things I've been waiting for to be released on DVD have comne out (or are coming out) this year. Muppet show season one Dinosaurs Ducktales ALF and ALFTALES the animated series Fat Albert Inspector Gadget Fraggle Rock ... Shell, even Darkwing Duck...

    Sesame Street Bloopers/Technical Difficulties

I don't really know if this counts but a year or 2 ago, when Telly had the baby duck, when he was dressed up like a duck, you could hear clicking noises made by the puppet's fake beak when his mouth moved. Aslo, not really a blooper, but an inconsistancy... in the Letter of the Day delivery...

    Kermit on Family Guy

Not only did they have a refference to Kermit, but Adam West was watching the old TMNT series (you just hear the theme song for 3 seconds). Now, Seth is dead on as Kermit. I've heard THOUSANDS of Kermit impersonations over the years (most of them bad), but Seth had the identical speach...

SS to be on eps 40 of Robot Chicken

...As much as I'd look forward to seeing this (had I had cable), another Big Bird flu joke is dull as dishwater to me.... MAd TV did it, several comics in newspapers did it.... and Wonder Showzen did it (sounds like the more superior of the previous)...

Interesting article on the current state of the Muppets

All I can say is I'm siding with the pessimists except for 2 things... WHile the (theatrically released) newer muppet films are no comparison for the classic 70's and 80's films. MCC was the weakest of the three... mainl;y (as I've said 20000000062 times) it seemed more like the Michael Cain...

    Jim Henson on TV Funhouse.

Absolutely a wonderful skit. The Animated TV funhouse segments are the only reason to watch SNL (plus Kenan of Kenan and Kel... he has more talent than all those bums put toghter, and they don't use him that much.) Usually I'd watch South Park reruns or Monty Python's Flying Circus. The...

TAILSPIN out on DVD in AUG'06

I seriously hope these are released like the Ducktales/ Rescue Rangers and not like Goof Troop. These need to be collector sets, not $10 3 episode single diosks.

    When did this begin?

Personally, the fact the smashed a birthday cake in the Ball episode was worth watching. But I'm guessing the Birthday cake may be some sort of inside joke, or a poor attempt at a running gag. Garfield and Friends definition of a Running gag is something that isn't funny the first time, but...

    Season 35 reruns begin April 3, 2006

Is it just me, or does anyone find it odd they ALWAYS get new sponsers when the show starts a new wave of reruns? Seriously.... they sponser the reruns. They always get new ads for the old sponsers, too. It kinda ticks me the heck off.
