    Cartoons can't smoke no more

Personally, I feel this is a debate about parental groups trying to sheild kids from Reality. No one can "die," you can't even SHOW guns, and violence always has to be downplayed... and I think it's wonderful that a lot of shows DO show violence dispite that (The New TMNT for example is way...

    Another controversary is done

Once again, I find this the STUPIDEST debate since Walter Mithinson argued the existance of giant mutant ping pong balls against Myrtle, the Flying Toaster..... I've been hitting too hard into the Monty Python... sorry! If it's a dwarf planet, it's still a planet. But if it isn't, just...

Jon Benet Ramsey Killer is arrested

I had a feeling that the guy who said he did it actually didn't. I don't want to get on a huge consipracy rant, but did anyone else think it was odd they fingered a suspect just AFTER the Mother died?

Rant on Season 36 nutrition sketches

Cherry moon sums it up exactly. The problem isn't so much the younger little children whom have parents that feed them good, healthy foods. The problem of Childhood obesity hinges on inactive 7-12 year olds who drink Extreem fruit punch, watch extreem super rangers, and play extreem blow up...

    Ruth Buzzi

Honestly, if there was one thing that was akward about her presence in the show, it would clearly be the restructuring and rebuilding of SS after Jim and a lot of others passed on. I remember only little bits here and there, my sister was 3 and watching it at the time. Personally, I love how...

Tickle Me Elmo 10th Anniversary Edition

the button cells and AAs must have different features. I had one toy that took 2, but they were inserted into different parts of the toy. It was a Toonsylvania Dr. Vic electric chair playset. I'm still wating for a Tickle me Oscar.... "Geez... will ya stop that?" "Cut it out!" "GET...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 37

I might as well give a rundown of the last couple weeks, since I'm not here every day. I HATED the Breakfast club segment. That was just a horrid disappointment to see it was just Miles singing about breakfast. I turned it off in disgust, if it got better towards the end I appologize. I...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 37

I only saw a few minutes of the beginning segment, but I loved Cookie's World. The funniest thing in the world is a self-parody. I especially liked how Cookie's world was just the street, like he was pretending to do the show. And they even parodied Dorothy... a cookie in a fish bowl. "Say...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 37

First off, lemme say that Abby Cadabby is with out a doubt, the most annoying Muppet on the show since Elizabeth and Little Murry Sparkles left the series. Absolutely horrid. And the way she kept on saying stuff like "enchanting" and "it's magical!" I REALLY hope she flops like every other...

    School bans Sesame Muppet Shirts

The sad thing? That's one of 3 pieces of merchandise that has Kermit with the Sesame Street characters on it (including the Best of Kermit VHS and the Caribbean Amphibian siging plush). Also it's that last new thing with Kermit on Sesame we'll ever see. Of course, I mean that as a sad...

    The Veggie Dance.

I once asked the question to how do you go about working for SS as an animator for new skits, and was told, SW makes the decisions, and doesn't allow submissions. I was crushed for 2 reasons. First, the obvious I need a freakin' animation job problem... then I realized the new Non-muppet skits...

Sesame Workshop unveils plans for Season 37

Cookie's World sounds amazing, and a Healthy food pagent brings back the classic Prairie's pagents style skits that haven't been seen in forever. Some of this stuff sounds cool, but the intro to Abby sounds very dull, and apparent she's being blitzed as the new character. Plus some episodes...

Galli Galli Sim Sim begins Aug 15

I am always interrested in these neew co-productions. I wonsder if the Japanese one flopped or if it's still on TV.

New Muppet Abby Cadabby heads to the Street

If ya don't like her, something tells me she's gonna flop like all the other female monsters outside of ZOe and Rosita. They haven't had success besides those two, I doubt Abby Kadabby will work out that well.

CBS tries new SatAM line up...?

Actually I might as well bump this back up: Funny. I turned this into a "cartoons suck today" post rather than following up on my main thesis. You see, I've noticed that too many cartoons today are being made specifically for girls (obviously by 50 year old men). Crap like Bratz, Winx...

    Bill Scott

actrually, Bill scott DID do the voice of Fearless Leader. It has been confirmed and it says so in the book "the Moose that Roared" Always has. He was Peachfuzz ONLY in the first saga "Jet Fuel Formula" in which he had a wacky southern type accent instead of Paul's modified Ed Wynn type voice.

    King Louie

I have to completely and utterly disagree. The show itself was one of the best things they ever did for television (right up there with Ducktales) and I felt it refreshing to see they took characters from a movie and made a seperate storyline outside of just making a routine cartoon based on a...

    Which Company Mascot Scares You

I really hate that BK kid's mascot... it's an old 1970's looking plastic bag puppet. Not scary looking, but scary as in what the shell is up with that!

Why are there few kids' shows that feature sawing in half?

Clearly no one remembers Inspector Gadget's second season episode in which the Great Wambini tries to saw gadget in half. I'm sure he did that allong with the Human Pin cushion trick.

    The Ant Bully

All I can say is there are WAAAAY too many CGI bug movies. Bugs life and Antz are the only good ones, IMO. This one, however, was based on a kid's book... and it looks terrible. I do kinda wanna see barnyard, though.
