Casting for "A Sesame Street Christmas Carol" DVD

Exactly... it seems like the tone of something they would do for a kid's special. But if I'm wrong... who here hopes it could be a "Monsterpiece theater" and can be hosted by Allistair Cookie?

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 37

I agree... dull episode. The best part was Luis getting pelted with the elements. Once again, fitting up to Jim Henson's legacy of comedy, put dignity last. Other than that,. virtually everything was re-used, and not even fun stuff. The Cookie segment was okay, but, like is that Amy girl...

    Season 37 Character Questions

It's just Scramalot.... spelt similarly to Spamalot... no hyphens or breaks in between. Basically they were grouches dressed like knights (or Kin-igh-its if you know what I mean). Not in Armor, of course, but those cloth robes with cloth hats. I don't know what the specific terms are ...

Old School Sesame coming to DVD October 2006

I would agree, but I don't think this will happen. Maybe a few skits would be cut out, but not entire bits. Reason being, they probably have a deal to have the SS characters on TMS DVD's, so they'd have to let Kermit on SS DVD's... they still have to pay, but if the DVD sales are good, it's...

Tickle Me Elmo 10th Anniversary Edition

I wouldn't TOTALLY say it was dead... they're still around. Unfortunately. Though I do want the Spongebob ones. Anway, if there's any doubt this will live up to the hype of the original... don't bother to ask. If people are killing each other as if they were nike sneakers, they'll no doubt...

Muppet Adventure: Chaos At The Carnival

Those were only on #3. What made Mario 1 harder than all the others was the fact that it didn't matter if you were fire Mario or Super Mario, you just shrank if you were hit once. I could never make it past Koopa hurling a wall of hammers. Dude had fire... he was hard enough then.

New Muppet CD coming for Christmas

I hope we can find this out shortly... especially since it's the only new Muppet project.

Casting for "A Sesame Street Christmas Carol" DVD

I still have a feeling we shouldn't assume this will take place in Dickensian England, but might just be present day. I could be wrong, myself, but I have a feeling we should take all possibilities into consideration.

    The Twiddlebugs are back!

Actually, a Twiddle bug was the chase figurine in the Japanese block figure Kubricks set of Sesame Street. I liked seeing them, but I didn't like the CGI. I like how they did remember the upside-down George Washington stamp... But the thing was replacing puppets with CGI is what I've been...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 37

Yeah... the most quoted James bond bit.... and the "Bond, James Bond" bit everyone does. It's funny, a bit overused, though. >>Hysteria!'s Boston Tea Party/Cheese Shop sketch was amusing and it did remind me of the Python referencial basis.<< I also forgot to mention the refference to the...

Another Family Guy Reference? You Be the Judge

It took three tries of watching that one. When I first noticed it, I didn't realize much... the second time I noticed it looked familiar. Third time I watched it with my Dr. Teeth figure in hand, and knew it HAD to be him. But then again, the Froud thing can be a refference. Not saying it...

ANOTHER Muppet reference on Family Guy

I will parrot exactly what you've just said. And don't forget the bit about Darth Vader. That was great. It's so funny to see Harold Ramis (that's his name, right) in animated form outside of Ghostbusters cartoons. >>I'm sorry Seth (and Vic) but I can't watch Family Guy at all now. I...

    C'est Les Muppets Showue!

I would agree, but I don't see how that's too much different from them making different co-productions of Sesame Street. Besides, if they're trianed Puppeteers, they could theoretically be good. It's just that... well... it would be great to make them use the original Muppeteers trying to...

What did you buy this Month ( Music, DVD's, Video Games, Muppet Stuff)

Hmmm... well... I got a couple cheap toys, a couple cheap DVD's (used ones) and a nice Chris Griffen from Family Guy T-shirt I'm wearing right now. I hope today I can get Ultimate Muscle issue 14. Haven't found it around here yet.

    What became of syndication?

The only cartoons in syndication (daytime) are a compilation of "Dic's wonderful world" with some not too wonderful shows. Well...except the Littles. But other than that is Strawberry Shortcake (EEEEEEeeeeewwww!) and Revolutionary kids or whatever (which isn't a terrible show, just I get sick...

    What became of syndication?

Actually, the Court show can trace its roots back to the 1950's... when there were only 2 or 3. I said Judge Judy because she was the one that popularized it in the 90's, causing all the ripoffs to come out after an absense in the early 90's.

    8 Simple Rules

Laugh track... as opposed to shows like the Office...etc... that either has a laugh track or a studio audience that are told to laugh, often at very unfunny parts. Office like shows are done "filmed" giving them a more theatrical appreance, like you're almost watching a movie, and you can...

    Capt. N coming to DVD

WOW! Didn't hear about Capt. N.... but I do know the 1990's Sonic the Hegehog (SATAM... not Adventures of... or ...Underground) will also be out in 2007.

    When sports pre-empty cartoons

I'd call that a gift! ANyway, I agree with Ilikemuppets. Futurama was shoved off the air because of the telivised sports, and I missed a pretty good episode of Kirby that caused me to get very upset. The worst thing was that once, my ENTIRE saturday morning was pre-emptied for a PARADE...

    Season 37 Character Questions

Firstly, the Rapunzel may be the same as the Elmo's World one... I didn't see. She had the same behive. She may have been purple. Hairy God-person? Well, he's the yellow AM Guy Smiley muppet head with basic eyes (like Bert) and a Unibrow (also like Bert) and a large, bulbouse rain drop...
