    "The Witches"

I love this movie too. I thought it was funny when a witch, disguised as a chef, samples the "tainted" soup and transforms into a mouse. Then she runs into the dining area warning the other witches, "Don't touch the soup! The formula's in it!" The other witches ignore the warning and think it's...

How many muppets lived on the original Sesame Street?

Mr. Johnson and Harvey Kneeslapper didn't join until 1971. When the show first started, they only had the Green, Fat Blue, Pumpkin, Orange Gold, Lavender and Purple Anything Muppet patterns. Then in 1970, they designed the Large Lavender Live Hand puppet, and then in the mid-1980s came the...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

BTW, who performed the wolf in Episode 4145? Joey Mazzarino was busy playing one of the pigs, so I'm guessing it's either Kevin Clash or Marty Robinson. Too bad; I liked Jerry Nelson's wolf, even if he sounded like Herry Monster.

What do you think of Abby Caddaby so far?

I'm pretty sure that's the case because a few times Big Bird's mouth movements did not match up very well with his dialogue, so I'm sure it's Matt in the puppet and Carroll looping the dialogue.

    Current episodes without Elmo's world...

I think it could be because Sesame Workshop might be thinking of a separate "Elmo's World" program. I agree with that idea. But my suggestion for current episodes if that there is an Elmo-heavy episode, then do not show Elmo's World. If Elmo does not appear in the street scenes or any other...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

Was "Take a Turn" a rerun skit? This counts as Herry Monster's second appearance in this season, even if it's reruns. I think Herry was originally meant to be Jerry Nelson's main character, until the Count became popular.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

My ideas is that if an episode focuses on other characters and rarely features Elmo or doesn't feature him at all, THEN show "Elmo's World." If Elmo's the center of attention then there might not be any need to show it. Anyways, the new Big Bad Wolf puppet doesn't look that great in my...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

I liked Season 37, and I also like Season 38. This season starts a new era in the show. I know we had... The "Old School" Era: Season 1 to 5 The "New Gordon" Era: Season 6 to 11 The "Neo-Old School" Era: Season 12 to 16 The "Changing" Era: Season 17 to 24 The "Around the Corner" Era...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

At least Horatio Elephant's voice isn't as grating and annoying as it originally was when Joey Mazzarino took over. The elephant's voice was annoying and screechy enough to shatter glass in the "Princess and the Two Elephants" skit!

What do you think of Abby Caddaby so far?

Exactly! She isn't overrated yet, in my opinion. I'm just a little nervous about SesameWorkshop's plan to put her in each episode, but so far it's mostly minor appearances. I'm cool with these minor appearances, though.

What do you think of Abby Caddaby so far?

Abby Cadabby is neat, even though I admit she's starting to be over-exposed. At first I thought they were going to incorporate her into each street scene, but I'm glad to know it's mostly segments. But I still hope she doesn't become another Elmo!

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

Another "stereotype" skit I know was from maybe the 1970s or 1980s, where it has a modern-day Native American boy telling two kids playing a game of Cowboys and Indians that "Indians don't talk like that!"

Old School Volume 2 coming this fall

I'm betting the Sesame Street News Flash with Jack and Jill is going to be on this set; since it was probably the first one to feature the standard version of the News Flash logo and Kermit wearing his gray hat (instead of the brown one), from 1974 (Season 6). But I DO know the Humpty Dumpty one...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

As part of the grammar/reading thing, they could show the News Flash about the London Fog! I believe it's from 1988, unless this would offend British viewers

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

It was nice to see a Kermit skit re-run this season, even though it had Steve Whitmire performing him. They also had a copyright notice to the Muppets Holding Company in the end credits, so maybe we might see a few more Kermit sketches this eason :) It's also nice to see Rosita and Prairie...

    Sesame's Replacement Puppeteers

Yeah. When Big Bird's beak does not match up with his dialogue it most likely appears to be Matt Vogel in the puppet and Caroll Spinney providing the voice. But I think Caroll Spinney still performs Oscar exclusively. Also, I think Eric Jacobson would be a good performer to recast some of...

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

Whew, at least I saved the 1971 "Three Little Pigs" News Flash before it got deleted. Maybe because of the high quality of the master it was used, SesameWorkshop could either rerun it or give it a proper uncut DVD release!

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

It was nice to see Big Bird heavily involved with the street story. And I loved seeing "Imagine That" again! But I noticed something... is it just me, or is the Fix-It Shop being featured more than ever? It could be because it was temporarily the Mail-It Shop from 2002 to 2005.
