Sorry. Bloogar, but you and Heralde have misunderstood the rest of us once again.
Not once have any of us said anything about Muppet characters being pessimistic. We mean that we're tired of certain people being pessimistic about the movie, especially with all the positive buzz that it has gotten.
Sorry, Snowthy, but Mr. the Segel deserves that credit at this time.
I can tell you're already pre-conditioned to hate the new movie and that's not good. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that it's a health risk. :(
The only problem that the article in that issue is that they too have given in to the false rumors of Frank Oz, et al. hating the script, Steve Whitmire wanting his name removed from the credits, etc. I thought EW was above that!
Well, folks, another new clip has just been posted. This one has Walter coming up with a "great idea".

I bet DrTooth is going to have a field day when he hears about this.
It's reasons like this that we should be even more grateful for the fact that the classic Muppets are in caring, loving hands at Disney.
I feel very sorry for the poor Fraggles and other struggling Henson properties. It sure...
However, Link did make a cameo appearance in the Billy Crystal episode. He was one of the hefty pigs that carried Crystal onto the stage at the beginning of the show.
Speaking of "Happy Feet", part of me can't help but think that that bit in the trailer doubles as a reference to not only the "Happy Feet" movies, but to Kermit's "Happy Feet" musical number from The Muppet Show as well. :)
I still think you're completely wrong, Heralde.
I really think you should consider withholding your opinions on this one until you actually see the movie. By then, the joke will be in proper context. :wisdom:
Too true.
Hope Link has a good line or two in the new movie, in addition to the barbershop "Hello" that we've heard in the second non-parody theatrical trailer.
