    Moveable eyes

I just posted a couple of pics about how to make moveable eyes for puppets from a book I borrowed from the library back in 1995. I can't find the book anymore, but would love to purchase a copy and give fair notice to all those who were associated with it. If anyone can help me on this that...

    Flat Eric's fingers

Not certain, I believe he would just pull the strings and it would move the finger(s). I guess you could make a trigger for it, or pull string through the arm rod.

    The Eyes Have It??!!

Just a little sand paper Hey Nick, Use very fine sand paper and the writing should come write off- you shouldn't even have to press hard. If you have a female companion or friend ask if you can have a nail file. I purchased some ping pong balls at a dollar store and was able just to wipe it off...

    Poseable Hands...

Hands I know that Noreen Young has a video that has how to affix wire within the hand. Really though, all you have to do is draw out a hand pattern on material, trace the pattern with the wire on the inside part of the pattern, sew the pattern; pull it inside out then "force" the wire inside-...

    Flat Eric's fingers

About making hands I came across a video on Youtube a couple of years ago about Grant Harding (A fellow Canadian) making a hand that grasps. I looked and looked but couldn't find it. Finally I came across a picture of it: Click for the picture HERE He had posted on Youtube HERE, but I don't...

    Flat Eric's fingers

Hmmmm... It looks to me like they switch from glove (Puppeteer wearing a glove) to rod controlled- depending on the shot.:smirk: I think Sesame Kermit was right on the other shots.

    Project Puppet Fleece Pattern?

Old Puppet PSAs, Commercials and Other Appearances

In Canada this PSA was hillarious! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyl5Mwr84MA As a teen we always joked that they were singing about something else. Now at 33, I finally figured out they were singing about rat poison :-)

    servos

Servos will always make a sound- Sometimes the audience won't even notice the noise if your performance sound is loud enough; or they will notice the sounds but just ignore it after a while. I recommend doing a show with friends and family first (don't tell them about the servos) see if they...

    A new puppet

Extra piece of foam I'm not really certain what you are asking, but I'll try to answer. The seam on the back is because I used an older foam pattern- it has four parts to it. I used this pattern so I could use up all the "leftover" foam I had, they (the foam bits) were smaller and couldn't be...
