    First Three Muppet Movies

The Muppet Movie came out during the summer of 1979,which was in between season three and season four of The Muppet Show. The Great Muppet Caper came out during the summer of 1981,just after The Muppet Show drew to a close with season five. Then a prime time TV special The Fantastic Miss Piggy...

    Give Bert some respect

The two of them are inseperable. In my mind too,you can't have one without the other. They have each done their share of episodes without one another. But to me Ernie & Bert are like Statler & Woldorf,or Laurel & Hardy,or Abbott & Costello. You know what I mean.Watching Ernie & Bert as a child,I...

    location?

A lot of the old brownstone buildings throughout New York City look remarkabley like Sesame Street. It's obvious where the set designers got their inspiration from.

    Question about 1975 Christmas album...

Olivia also sang"True Blue Miracle"on the 1978 TV special"Christmas Eve On Sesame Street".Two other things that were repeated in that special were Oscar's musical number"I Hate Christmas",and Mr.Hooper's story of Ernie and Bert. :p :(

    Anyone miss The Electric Company?

I loved The Electric Company.I think my favourite characters would be Janet Of The Jungle and her companion Paul The Gorilla.I still have a book called"The Electric Company Nitty Gritty Rhyming Riddle Book"from 1973.I also liked how the show included a live action version of Spider Man,and...

Where do they keep the real Muppet puppets?

I'm with you christyb.I would have loved to have had some real muppets to play with as a child. Not the pale thick plastic puppet imitations from Matel.

    Muppets with Blonde Hair?

Prairie Dawn:Chrissy(of Chrissy & The Alphabets):A female nurse muppet with green face and hands, who starred in a musical hospital sketch on Sesame Street(if anyone remembers).

What sketches scared you as a kid?

There was one sketch from the 70s which I found somewhat scary as a child.Chrissy & The Alphabets' number"Exit(the waywaywayway out)".After all the muppets in the audience walk out the exit door followed by The Alphabets,Chrissy is left all alone singing at the piano. It's not until she's...

Where is the Muppet Theater located?

On account of TMM,in my mind the theatre would be located in LA.However, because Sesame Street was and still is made in New York,in my mind New York is where the Sesame Street neighborhood is located. But the Muppet Theatre location causes some confusion. The Muppet Show debuted three years before...
