I remember that sketch too.The one thing I noticed in the sketch, was when Kermit was demanding his Kermit The Frog T-shirt,he was already wearing one. :)
I recently purchased a DVD called"Sesame Street Rock & Roll".Basically I bought it because it includes"Telephone Rock"from Jerry & The Monotones. But I was well entertained by everything else on the DVD too.I especially liked the last two segments"Hand Talk"and"The Word Is No",and I highly...
Jerry & The Monotones were among my favourite SS characters. They were so groovy.I loved their style. My two favourite musical numbers from them are"Sad"and"Telephone Rock".Does this muppet band still exist on SS?It would be neat if they had a compilation of their musical numbers on DVD.
That was the episode that guest starred Linda Lavin from season 4.It was Kermit's birthday they were celebrating. But at the end of the episode,Kermit told everyone that it actually was not his birthday. :) :o
Oh yeah,I love Value Village. It's a great store to buy all kinds of collectibles. The Fennel store is the one my mom and I always go to.I've been to the one in Stoney Creek a few times. It doesn't seem to be as good a store as the Fennel one.
Some of my closest friends like the muppets as well.I don't think I ever told anyone at work that I'm a muppet fan.Although I think one of my front end coworkers likes the muppets.Come to think of it,another coworker of mine is a Peanuts fan.
So you're a Hamiltonian too eh superfan? What a small world! It is kind of a bummer how The Muppet Show has been moved FROM 7 TO 4.I have a part time job as a front end clerk at Commissos Supermarket, usually working during the day, often until 4.So I know how you feel.
Crossroads Television Services(CTS),a tv channel in Canada,is currently airing reruns of The Muppet Show on weeknights at 7:00.So I've been able to tape episodes.I'm confident that they'll bring The Muppet Show back to syndication in the States eventually. The only thing I don't care for,is how...
There is something that I've often wondered. The scene where Bruno shoves Kermit up against the backstage desk, thinking that Kermit had stolen one of his gold bars.Miss Piggy was absent from this particular episode. But if she had seen Bruno attack her frog the way he did,I wonder if she would...
I remember there being a paperback series of The Muppet Show muppets, available in the Humour section of bookstores, during the 1980s.I wonder what ever happened to those books.Out of style I suppose.I also remember The Muppet Show Book, which was a large hardcover book, with the scenery and all the...
As a child,I recall wondering where the tire swing, seen in the famous Sesame Street scenery, was hanging from.Since you can't see the swing's attachment from on TV,it almost looks as if it's hanging from the sky.Of course I know better nowadays. With the whole street being an imatation located...
How about Prairie Dawn?I've often imagined her and Miss Piggy in scenes together, wondering how they would get along.Chances are Miss Piggy might relate to Prairie Dawn the same way she related to Annie Sue.Or maybe they might get along.Prairie Dawn might get along better with Janice or...
I'm with you Mickey!I miss the original season 1 opennings. It doesn't seem right with the updated opennings.Especially since some muppets, particularly Fozzie Bear and Miss Piggy, have had a makeover since season 1.It doesn't make much sense if you ask me.
I remember there being occasional segments that had characters on fast motion videotape with fast music. These segments scared me as a child, but my perspective has changed since then. How many of these episodes do you remember? Here are some I remember most:Big Bird racing around his nest building...
