I think we're putting too much time into this rumor. I don't think the Muppets will do another similar remake to WOZ right away. This Alice in Wonderland rumor seems very fabricated, and I don't think we should worry about it. ;)
The Muppets still attract extremely talented people to work for them, so we'll always have quality performances. People like Bill Barretta will carry on the Muppet tradition.
It seems to me like they wanted to keep it simple (and maybe save money), so they probably just sent Steve, Eric, and one or two second tier puppeteers to assist and fill in for Fozzie when Eric was doing Piggy. So Eric probably did Animal. Too bad they couldn't work in some other of their...
I believe Eric is supposed to takeover Animal officially now. However, I think he was passed around so much in the past because it's an easier character to do...it's basically a lot of yelling! :halo:
Actually, I think it was reported that Brian wasn't too involved with the movie because he's directing something else, so he will be looping many of his lines later. Kevin, of course, had his Sesame Street time conflict like you said.
Horace...you should probably watch Waylon Jennings and Big Bird sing "Ain't No Road Too Long." It'll touch you and it also might give you some insight into life. ;)
Actually Grover joins Gordon's group relatively late in the movie. For most of the movie, Frank's characters were separate. But this scene is just Grover cleaning up at Mr. Hooper's store with some of the human cast as they watch Chevy Chase report Big Bird's escape on TV. Since there's only...
I don't think he was walking away from the Muppets back then. It was just a small scene that could have been easily dubbed over later. It seems like that type of thing happens more than we think. ;)
It's probably that Frank wasn't on set that day, and so someone else did the scene. I just can't believe that they would use it in the trailer without Frank dubbing over it first.
Yes Grover was the only Muppet in the scene. My first thought was that it was Kevin Clash which is funny because someone else thought the same way. However, I am not sure they would give Grover to a new puppeteer like Kevin was at the time.
Well I know Frank eventually dubbed over that scene with Grover's correct voice, but I was wondering if anyone knew if Frank did that for a lot of the film or for just a few scene like that one. :o
I was watching the DVD of Follow that Bird the other day, and I watched the trailer for the first time. First off, it's not a very good trailer. But I noticed that Grover's voice was definitely not Frank Oz's and was wondering if anyone knew if he didn't work on the movie much and just dubbed...
