Hi all,
Wanted to share the first pictures of Old Enough To Know Better Puppets' newest addition - TV Chat Show Host David Parkinson-Frost. I'll hopefully have a video of him to share soon. I've got one more puppet that is a hair's breadth from being complete and then it may be a while for...
Thanks Chris. He is one of those made to sell puppets you just don't really want to because you like him so much lol. It always comes back to "well I can just make another one sometime".
Hi guys.
The latest puppet from Old Enough To Know Better Puppets is now available for sale on ebay. His auction runs from today until Saturday 17th May. Happy bidding and below is the link to both the sale page and his pictures here in the forum...
This was a puppet I finished a few weeks ago and forgot to post the pictures.
I had the idea a while ago for a character called Baby Big Hands, and that is what Billy started as. But at the time i didn't have anything to specifically make him babyish so he ended up just being a little boy...
In between orders I had the idea of putting together a live hand clown puppet. And here he is. I managed to get a few pictures of him today and want to try and do a few videos with him when i get the time. For now though, here are his pics.
Well this one went on ebay to someone in Surrey but that wasn't the person who bought it. I suppose it could have been bought for them, or similar. The thing was he was relatively simple compared to some of the other puppets I've done, yet like you say he could create a lot of expressions so...
One way I used in a test puppet, which kind of worked and just needed a bit of adjustment was to scale down a head pattern by half and make a complete small head with mouthplate. I then build the larger head around this, so the cheeks were built on the side, lips on the edges of the mouth so by...
Loving him so far. I think the best thing about Audrey II is that everyone has their own take on it. There's not hard and fast rules about what it has to look like. It is one of the many things on my list to do when i have time.
It's good to find things like that out. I've made two of this puppet - the one here and another one as an order - so not sure which one it was that you saw but it's always good to hear he's putting himself out there lol.
Who was the director?

Check him...
Well...somehow time flew by and before i knew it i had a finished puppet!
So here is the Animal puppet i have wanted to make for the last two years since i started seriously building puppets as a sideline job. Have a look at his pictures below. Hope you like him - just in time for the SEQUEL...
So finally managed to get a little time with this in between other jobs and more to the point found the time to update a few photos. So here are the latest pictures of the new Animal replica of mine.
And here are the latest parts waiting to be attached.
More updates coming soon.
It really depends on the replica. Kermit I suppose will be cheapest as he is literally just the antron fleece and a few bits of felt/eyes mouth plate. When i did Fozzie the materials all in (considering I'm in the UK so was stung on importing it) cost about £60-£70 tops. Alternatively, Elmo was...
On my Fozzie replica I used a thick shag fur in fawn but I boiled it in strong Sunshine Orange Rit dye (I think the concentrate was double the usual amount to get it to take) and it did just enough to turn the fawn into an orange brown. Obviously the boiling made the fur course like old Fozzie...
No it was just reticulated foam carved to shape and covered in regular polar fleece. I was originally going to dye the foam (similar to the bags under Crazy Harry's eyes, but the foam i was using had really large holes so the fleece cover was the better option.
Been really busy with orders recently but have managed to squeeze this guy out in those periods waiting for fleece and fur drying after dying, waiting for fabrics to arrive etc.
I didn't really have any plan for him when starting other than I had a one inch thick piece of foam, some fur that...
Hi all,
This guy is up for sale in ebay until next Sunday. He was orignally built for one of my side projects and even made it into a cut of a lipsync children's video which is included on the listing page on ebay to show him in action.
Anyway, I decided that the project i was originally...
