I would agree with both of those methods...if you're trimming the fur, I find it best to press the spoon into the fur for a few seconds so it leaves an imprint of where the fur needs to be trimmed and then cut just inside it. It saves you having a "**** i cut too much" moment.

Here are some pictures of a replica of Kate Monster from Avenue Q. One thing i didn't realise would be so hard was making the eyes work without custom vacuum forming them. They did end up a little rounder than the original's but they worked overall. Hope you like her.

I have used out of the box puppets and they are always great to work with - both in service and quality. If that is the same as the one I was sent as a swatch with an order of mine then it is very close to current Kermit colour.
