I think that it is not Rowlf who sounds like Bobo, but Bobo who sounds like Rowlf. Yes, when Bill performs Rowlf or Dr. Teeth, Bobo does come to mind, but somehow, I'm okay with that. Why? Because at least the quality of voice is still there. It's not a stretch. It's as though that voice is...
I have a friend who was so surprised to know that Tom Kenny, who voiced Spongebob, voiced one of her favorite supporting characters from the game Final Fantasy X. I was surprised too. It would seem he has done quite a lot of voice acting.
Yeah, Gonzo works best with poultry. :concern:
Actually, I was never a big fan of Rizzo either. I don't know... I guess he always came off as being sarcastic, a bit selfish, and generally unsympathetic when I was younger. I accepted him, of course. I laughed at moments in MCC that...
I dunno. I like the Rizzo and Gonzo dynamic more, but I'm a little tired of all the cliques where it seems like "this character can only be teamed with this character or maybe sometimes this character". I wish there were more cases where the Muppets are just interacting together, not just with...
I agree full-heartedly. I think it's great to see adults acting like kids once in a while. I think that things like the Muppets and Disney really bring out the kid in all of us. And as for it being to extreme... I personally don't think so and that's all that matters to me. Though everyone...
I don't know about that. Miss Piggy as always been performed by a man. I actually could imagine Hilda being performed by *Louise Gold if they wanted to bring the character back in the later seasons, but I think that the show went in a different direction.
As for Hilda, I wouldn't call myself a...
I always thought he smells like a generic garbage dump. Or a building that garbage is accumulated in over the course of many years. But probably to a lesser extent. It's a smell that is there, but not enough to turn the faces of those around him. Well, think about it. No one on SS has ever...
I've only seen Oz once. It really isn't as horrible as people say it is, but it wasn't all that memorable either. It had moments that got a chuckle out of me and there were a few moments in which I aaawwww'd but it didn't have that spark to make it classic.
As much as I love the fact that they filmed in Wilmington for MFS, I can't help but wonder, what were they doing in NC? Wouldn't it make more since for them to be in the city?
This is just a question that has been plaguing my mind for a while. How long does a commonly used Muppet last before they are worn out? How about Muppets that aren't used anymore? I know that sometimes there are Muppets on display in museums that need to be kept in a climate controlled...
I was wondering whatever happened to this thread.
I had a dream a few weeks ago that I was watching a Muppet special on TV and Kermit sounded like Grover. It was really weird. He was just running around and being all Kermit-like, but he sounded like Grover.
I always thought Robin's age was very ambiguous. Of course he's a kid, but to attach an age to that? I don't think I would.
I really need to watch Letters to Santa again, because I really didn't notice his voice as I should have. But given the choice between having an off voice (in the case of...
Ooh, you mean the Ancient Mew card? That was a cool one.
For some reason, I had this huge collection of Mew cards. Most of them were the ones that came from the local Pokemon league at the Books-a-Million.
This thread makes me want to get out my old cards.
I just counted them all. I...
Ugh. Don't get me started on cards. I remember trading like... 100 cards for a white star, Japanese Here Comes Team Rocket card... And you know what? It was totally worth it. :flirt:
Xerus - Just a little correction, I don't think Maddie Blaustein was the first voice of Meowth. I believe someone else voiced him for the first thirty episodes or so.
Meowth and Jillas have always been two of my favorite anime characters. Upon hearing that Maddie Blaustein passed away, my...
