I remember a skit where Grover is a waiter who gives Fat Blue a bell to ring if he needs anything. Close to the end he and Grover start arguing and when FB demands to see the manager, a giant monster with big teeth (I remeber him looking like a bigger version of Behemoth!!!) stomper out from the...
An angered Uncle Deadly threatens to make life in the theater hard on the residents if they don't leave it. Is it possible that he put a curse on the theater that causes some of the problems that weren't the fault of anyone in later seasons? It does make some sense when you think about it.
Sam and another puppet were at the celebration for the success of the Muppets. The other puppet looked like a sock with a beak and sunglasses flat on his head and asked Kermit why he looked so much better than from the start.
Yorick also did his "eat pink blanket over my face trick" sitting...
When I was little, I remeber the Storyteller a sing-song tale that was probably a little more heavy scare-wise than was meant for little kids.
I think it was about a monster living in a cave that sucked unfortunate victims into it, a Fraggle in armor comes to "slay it" I think, because I...
Were any of the other minstrels aside from Cantus refered to by name?
I remember always being excited by seeing them when I was little because they were all so different, especially with just two Fraggles in a group of aggressive-looking creatures, Brool, I always thought, looked sort of...
Here's a theory of mine concerning this, tell me what ya think;
Floyd normally does the talking for the band, which leads one to wonder who the real leader of the Electric Mayhem and in control of the orchestra pit is, since in Kaye Ballard, the other musicians which the exception of Rowlf and...
The Crocodile does a good job of being a stero-type that crocs can be deceiving and dangerous. In the Sandy Duncan episode he cruises about in a swamp full of frogs and sings his verse in a cocky and evil-sounding manner. Also when he sings with Big Mama and the Frackles he puts on the...
I think there was also a violet/pink monster that looked like a floppy-eared version of Boppity with a more noticable orange beak, wasn't there?
I think he was called "Purple Frackle", and wore something like the bib of a tuxedo.
Maybe Gorgon or Behemoth?
Here's a question that suits this thread, which monsters performed the final number with Vincent? (they cut that from the DVD, why?)
Uncle Deadly
Green Heap
Boppity
Gloat
Droop
Snake Frackle (the creature Lenny evolved from)
Hunchback Green Frackle
Miss Kitty...
Joel Grey-He blew up Svengali, Gloat, a burglar, HGF, and Lenny the lizard in "Comedy Tonight" then in "Razzle Dazzle", behaving for once.
Sandy Duncan-Blew Kermit up to W&S's box, then apparently blowing the frog up completely again.
Phyllis Diller-caused an explosion when Gonzo was about to...
I think I remeber seeing him in MCJH, though it was a really long time ago. He was walking around backstage in the theater trying to get Fozzie to calm down about something, wasn't he?
I've heard of this before, but nothing too specific. I understand the monsters sing this with someone, but what I want to know is which monsters, which part did one particular monster sing, and how was the song set up?
I think they also interacted in the Danny Kaye episode in between serving the performers.
Piggy had to have a celery stick
Annie Sue ordered a double-decked cheeseburger
Gonzo had a chicken....for company, then had to "pay" instead of it being on his tab.
I think that one didn't count because it was a regular punch, or maybe the curtains just closed too quick.
Something that interested me more was both the bear and pig had their regular voices.
Which guest star did you like to see get along with the muppets? Some of mine are....
Joel Gray and Gonzo-He seemed good at keeping Gonzo's selr-estem up.
Fozzie and Bruce Foresythe-Worked great with Fozzie on how to throw insultive jokes at insultive hecklers.
Phyillis Diller and...
I think the name of this post is as to why does he hit everyone around him. My guess he's just a hendosist who, rather than expeirience physical pleasure himself, gets pleasure out of hitting others with a mallet and hearing their cries of "Ow", no matter who it is (except for the guest start...
Fozzie: Good bye, Mr. Frog.
Kermit: Fozzie, where are you going?
Fozzie: Oh, oh I've heard what everyone's been saying about the old bear, so.....
Gonzo: Kermit, if the bear goes, I go.
Fozzie: G-Gonzo, I never realized! *hugs Gonzo* The ball is in your court, frog.
Kermit: Wait a...
