Well, now that I've looked at the Muppet Central new collectibles section, I now know that I am way behind the times with this little bit of info- 1997 to be exact. My bad!
I don't know how new this is, but it was new to me. I saw it on eBay, and found the company's web-site. It's a very nice lamp, but a bit on the expensive side.

If "classic character" means some rarley seen 1st season Muppet, then no.
As far as "classic characters" go, I think all the biggies have been covered so far. The only people not being made that I'd like to see and would accept before Pepe are Sweetums & Mahna Mahna.
And I still haven't received my wedding invitation! :D
I really want Ker...uh..chiefs. You know, hankerchiefs? They really make a suit look nice for a wedding. Yeah, that's it! I mean, what else would I want?
Hey- look over there!!!
*runs*
I just found this topic today! :)
I was under the same name at the old board, except I had to leave out some vowels, due to Delphi's plot to limit the number of letters one can have in their name!!! Those oppressors!!
I still have yet to see/find the OTHER Mayhem from Delphi though...
I pre-ordered it from Amazon for only $24.50! :D
If I get some book about a bad 80's action TV series where a guy can turn into different animals, I'm gonna be miffed....
YAY!!!!
An Animal book?!?! Too good to be true!!! I was a little suprised at the length of the book, but who cares? IT'S ANIMAL!!!
Must go pre-order now!!!
I saw a little news report today on E! News that showed some of the Muppets with their respective cars & drivers to kick off their new deal. Some of the Muppets hamming it up included Pepe, Kermit, and Piggy. Others like Fozzie and Swedish Chef were there as well, but weren't moving, just...
I never compared it or related it to the original Muppet Show, because they're too entirely different critters!! Muppet Babies was a GREAT cartoon, for all ages, races, & sexes. I thought it was VERY humorous & I liked that it revolved around using your imagination. The little video bits they...
What are your favorite Muppet quotes?
"A bear in his natural habitat.. a studebaker!" --Fozzie
"I think I will go change now, okay?" --Pepe
"WOMAN! WOMAN!!" --Animal
"I like the pig's steel drums!"
"What?"
"PIG'S STEEL DRUMS!!"
"Yeah, they'll take anything that's not nailed down!"...
KB Kids, you say??? Hmmmm... now I'm faced with the question of whether or not I buy them there to get my hands on them as soon as I see them, or do I wait & get them cheaper elsewhere, since KB likes to jack the prices up?? Decisions, decisions....
Who am I kidding? As soon as I see them...
I want as many of the Muppets as possible, of course!!
Also, I'd like to see them carry on their tradition of celebrity guests in some way. I think this brings in even casual viewers who normally might not watch, and it's fun to see how the Muppets interact with the celebs & how the celebs...
I sent them an e-mail saying "Make the Muppet DVD's widescreen, or the mouse gets it!!!" I think that'll get their attention. :D
OK, I didn't REALLY do that, but it sounded good.
I did e-mail them though.
