Googly as in the eyeballs move around? or googly as in bulgey? Or googly as in they'll find information for you quickly allowing you to choose from many websites? (sorry)
For bulgey eyes, ping pong balls, paper maiche spheres, or any other round-ish thing would do (Pom poms are fun)

I'd been trying in the past to build the beak into the pattern & that messed me up a lot when I did the finished puppet. I know it can be done..just not by me...YET.
Oh surely I can share. Basically I had a shell of a body in the usual way of me making a puppet. I don't build a foam head and cover it, I've mostly made my puppets similarly to the glorified sock puppet. That's how I made his head. I did construct a body out of foam (although I wish the gusset...
While I didn't get most of the jokes, I had Todd watch it & he loved it. The way I know he loves things is when he spouts off more ideas about that thing. (He wants to make sure you've seen the Star Wars Robot Chicken)
My Star Wars story: Back in college they released the 4th Star Wars, which...
Ok I'm reading this off to the husband to decipher the star wars references for me. He said "wait...if I understand this correctly, they're doing an "ask the emperor show?" (me) "yes" (him) "Ok that's wonderful. But it should have nothing to do with star wars...like..hey emperor, my boyfriend...
I *did* get everything done in time! And even though our tech rehearsal was clunky, our shows were both wonderful. Tonight's show went over even better than last night's (Saturday crowds are always bigger & a tad more inebriated). I know Friday's less-smooth show was recorded, maybe I'll be able...
I am a dingus & thought you said spider pirate because its a song in the wiggles. Not enough sleep. too many puppets....I was expecting to run into Captain Feathersword singing about spider pirates. What do I get instead? Greek dances.
Thank you guys very much.
Which episode of Wiggles is that? I thought I'd seen them all. I *have* seen every episode of Lazy Town. Those wacky Icelanders...
Ok update on progress:
Turns out I only had two hours yesterday, so I didn't get facial features on red before I hit tech. I also need...
Ok guys...I'm in the home stretch, which is a good thing because the tech rehearsal is tonight.

We decided that the pig will be a guy..which makes it more funny in the context of everything anyway. That saves me from making...
I use just the plain-ole-regular-type fleece found at any Joann Fabrics (or house of fabrics or whatever you call home). I've never tried antron. Fur also works nicely to hide seams, but it can take some brushing. I have a brush from my teddy-bear-making days that's a lot like a cat-brush. It...
Beaks are entirely confusing to me. I've tried them on other birds and failed miserably. Ok so I thought I'd figured it out. Turns out I hadn't. I know I'm missing something obvious.
I know JoAnn Fabrics has a black vinyl trim with eyelets, they might also have one with spikeys.
Then there's the almighty goth store (Hot Topic?), but you'll pay a bundle, I'm sure. Eh yeah, I'd go with the dog collar. The only problem with that would be the cost vs. size.
*sigh* back to my...
