Well, anything is possible, but maybe he was given that role just to get his name out there. If he were called Robin in that special and something else on the Muppet Show, that wouldn't make sense. I guess a different puppet altogether could have been used to avoid confusion, but I'm glad they...
Do you live in a large town or city? I actually had better luck finding my Wii in a small town. I got mine last summer. Though the place where I bought mine also had them in stock this past Christmas. It's actually best to look for these things in small towns and places most people wouldn't...
And this is a weird question:
"Which film of Jim Henson's wasn't successful when released but is not considered a cult classic?"
Don't they mean NOW considered a cult classic?
Wait, is that Swedish Chef question refering to the time the puppet was damaged durring a first or second season sketch? From what I understand, an explosive went off and damaged the puppet so that for the next few times he appeared, he still had the "scars".
Wasn't that in the first season? I...
Little known secret: In order to make money to feed his cookie addiction, Cookie Monster took on a part time job at the Muppet Show.
... I'm kidding, of course.
I think it depends on what I'm in the mood for. From the first season I really love listening to the Lena Horne episdoe (Hearing her sing I've Got a Name made me go out and download that song on itunes) as well as the Paul Williams episode, and the Sandy Duncan episode, and not to mention Ethel...
Beauregard and Beaker are one of my favorite overlooked teams. Neither characters are the brightest bulb in the box, so when they work together, chaos follows.
As much as I think Gonzo and Rizzo work well together and make a great pair, Gonzo & Camilla haven't been seen much together lately...
It depends. Most people I know have very fond meomories of the Muppets or outright love them. Then again, most of my friends are sequential artists, which automatically raises the geek factor.
The way I see it, when I hear the name Steve Whitmire, I think of Kermit. When I hear the name Kermit, I think of Jim Henson. I don't think that can change, unless Jim's name is somehow lost to history... Which I hope will not ever happen, and doubt that can happen, at least in any of our...
That was a terrific show! I was not expecting Frank Oz to be the special guest of the week, so I was quite surprised when you introduced him. The ending was perfect too. At first, it seemed like it was going to be a downer and then the music played just like think Jim would have wanted it to...
I agree. Junior isn't as dumb as he looks. He is ignorant about some things, but he has an open mind. At least more than his parents. It's really nice that, especially towards the end of the series, Junior was shown to be smarter, and wiser than originally thought.
That is very true, but think about all of the kids who are terrorfied when they see that Mickey is so tall. Not all kids are like that, but it is something that can be really weird for a kid to see.
Well, that depends. Sweetums works, because he IS a costumed Muppet (though that's a given, really), but Kermit and Miss Piggy and other Muppets don't seem to work as much. This is mainly becuase we, as viewers, are used to seeing them in scale. They are meant to be short and small. The Muppet...
Seeing as I don't have a car, I automatically participate. Heheh.
Though I admire the idea, boycotts like this don't seem to work, at least in my mind. Even if people do boycott for a day, that means that all the more people will be filling up the next day.
