Nice croc! While it's a shame he didn't get the scales (a little more texture would have been nicer), he did turn out pretty sweet. I especially like his eyes. Thanks for sharing the creative process--for those of us who lack puppet-crafting skills, it's always amazing to watch the full creation...
Looks good! A little creepy looking with the low brow, but in a good way.
Who's that bald mustachioed gentlepuppet in the background of the "crap!" photo near the end of the set?
Some of the forum comments are pretty good indeed. I know I had a few Sesame Street books in my youth, but this wasn't one. ...And the only book I distinctly remember is Grover's "Monster at the End of this Book." That hasn't been covered by the book club yet, has it?
So, after years of avoiding the podcast world, I now found a podcast that I want to subscribe to. Frankly, I don't know what more needs to be said. Good stuff in there, Steve!
Finally got a chance to download these. I'll be adding them to my iPod for listening on the way home tonight. I'm looking forward to it and I'll post my thoughts tomorrow! :)
I use a Microsoft LiveCam VX-6000 webcam for photography. For smaller comic-style photos, I think it works better than my digital camera--and is easier to rig up in unique positions. I'm still working on lighting. I take the photos in my home office, which has a standard overhead light and a...
Well, the holiday season is over and I've not had much time to post during the season... but I did manage to get not one, but two comics up for January. The Muppet Times has officially begun and you can view the latest acts below (note, that links for each post are only valid for the month...
There were some really good moments and I enjoyed the overall feel of Letters to Santa. I thought it was better than Oz or Very Merry, but there were still some moments that fell flat for me--mostly in the cameos. Overall, it started strong for me (I loved the New York gag and post office song)...
Does Sir Didymus from Labyrinth count as a Muppet or would he be a creature? Sometimes that line blurs too much for me to make out. I must have puppet astigmatism.
Clueless Morgan is definitely on my list. The two most missed figures from the Palisades line, IMO were Sal Manilla and Clueless...
This is one of my holiday traditional movies. Then again, so is Bill Murray's Scrooged...
1) Who's your favourite Muppet character in the movie?
While I love the whole cast, the business pigs make me smile every time I see them. They get my vote.
2) What are your favourite scenes?
My...
Link Hogthrob is my favorite Muppet; pompous, yet clueless characters crack me up. And I love hearing the Brian Henson stories about how his dad would use the Link voice when performing typical "fatherly duties" like carving a turkey--kind of reminds me of my dad.
According to the Muppet Wiki, Billy Bunny was the spokesMuppet for the first Muppet Sing-Alongs. That's the only reference I can find of Billy Bunny being used, though.
...I wonder if Billy is related to Bean Bunny.
I play most of my games on my XBox 360. The games I want tend to come out on it before the PS3 and it has the most DLC (barring the PC, of course, but I prefer action games on a console).
Come January, each year will introduce a new show built around the original Muppet Show format. The...
Because I don't run the site, the URL might change every month, but I guess I can always keep you guys updated. Here's th e link to the preview comic. Officially, the shenanigans begin in the January issue, but I'll have a December issue gift up in half a month.
Wow, it's been a while since I've visited the site. When the Palisades Muppet toy line crashed, my Muppet enthusiasm sort of crashed with it and while I still was purchasing the seasons as they came out on DVD, I didn't really feel like discussing Muppets that much. They say time heals all...
