I don't know if there was a precursor to him before SS, but if you ask me who I liked more out of the Ernie & Bert duo I'd say I'm a Bert fan all they way!
His early look had his head more triangular and his tuft of hair was always messy. When he got mad, his mouth would scrunch up, very...
Yello Submarine
I guess because it's been a staple for Ringo at his concerts to sing that song that I assume he wrote it.
How did this skit go?If anyone can recall, it's been awhile. LOL!
I always liked this show when it was played on HBO. I would watch it as many times as they played it. It was funny and very well produced. I always enjoyed other muppet shows like this because it was a change of pace.
Big V
Well, he was similar to that monster in that old skit they showed with Kermit on a dozen different shows: Jack Paar, Ed Sullivan. He's sitting on the wall, and he eats two worms that come up and bother him ,but instead on the third try, he gets what he thought was a worm turns out to be...
Yep!
Like your idea! I agree with you, if you're older,(like me) these skits are perfect for that spot. I one time woke up screaming once thinking about that 'B' skit, had some sort of dream about it that really spooked.
There are two other skits you left out that would fit this:
Kermit...
I'm not dreaming am I? They actually did a skit of the famous Ringo Starr written Beatles tune "Yellow Submarine" right?I forgot how this went, the skit I mean, I LOVE the song!!!
SS scary music
Yeah, that first letter 'W' skit always scared me, could never get WHY they put that kind of music in there.
The milk scene was a classic, saw it many timesm, and I remember being wierded out by that too. And yes, I DO believe we had some creepy music in there.
muppet
I think he was aking 'Did she have a name', but I have no idea, that too is what I was wondering.
I guess we can say she was just a 'character muppet'. LOL!
This has been touched on briefly in other threads, but I want to give it it's own forum.
I don't know about any of you, but the monsters from when SS first aired were not by any means 'cute' OR 'lovable'. They seemed very dark and intimidating. Now I say this becasue as a kid, I was very...
The little girl with poni tails? (her image pops up at times when you visit the site) Yellow hair, maybe a polka dot skirt, been in a hundred skits! Never knew what they called her.
monster
Oh,I know who you mean now. That monster in the short and tall skit with Kermit (though there were two at the time). Yes, he made this creeking like sound and you couldn't really see his mouth. Yeah, not cute by any means, very creepy though!
