Supposedly The Power of The Dark Crystal is less then a year away from release and we have NO NEWS, NO TEASERS, NO NEW IMAGES, NOTHING. I have started this thread in hopes that Lisa Henson or The Orphanage or Genndy [the director of the film] himself will release more news. RELEASE MORE...

I'm tending to believe Cabbageheat that The Power of the Crystal has died a quiet death. Oh well, it was fun to think about it. The Power of the Crystal is no more :(

I wonder if there will be a teaser trailer for The Power of the Crystal put on the SE of The Dark Crystal? The film is less than a year away now, we should be seeing SOMETHING!

Now, see, to me, I don't like something just because it was made. Those dolls looked NOTHING like the original puppets, aside from their costumes, which were actually well made. Their heads were these bulbous monstrositys that bore no resemblance to their originators. It was quick and shoddy...

100-200 million dollars is outragious and frankly I wouldn't want to see a sequel that expensive. 20-30 million is an adequate budget of a film of this size.

I wish the Jen and Kira dolls were released with as much attention to detail as the UrSkek. Those abominations that were released a few years ago are so far from the original design, I can't believe they made it out of the production line. Bad call there Henson.
