Reign of Fire
d-, really? i kinda dug it, at least as a way of killing a few hours. the dragons were pretty spiffy, and i generally like Christian Bale...ever since (i can't believe i'm gonna admit this) Newsies. i personally would give it a C+...it's not bad if you check your brain at the...
aren't the Smiti's the one's that look like cracked-out lego people? if so, then that's how they get all the articulation packed in...the likeness only has to be close enough to get the idea accross, so it gives them some extra room to work in. in a traditional action figure, you want to hide...
actually, i would think they would technically have to buy another license. let's face it, SS is not owned by Henson anymore, there is no way that Henson can give them permission to do it. Sesame Workshop can. there's a process to getting a license (something i'm kinda learning firsthand...
it's from a random MTI press shot that i found online...the one i'm waiting to put up is going to make some scratch their heads, some groan in pain, and some laugh out loud.
i can't wait...gonna try to find a better pic of it to use too 'cause the one i have now is kinda dark
i'm just posting here to make sure Clueless sees the avatar...i got bored, so i made one for him to steal! he needs to hurry up and take it too because i've got a new one i wanna put up!
heh...
i wanna go to "Oz" too!
they've got midgets! and flying MONKEYS!!!!
and if you find any b*tchy people, you can douse them with water, or drop a neaby house on them, and instead of getting arrested, they give you prizes!
and oh the poppies...
(sorry, i couldn't help myself)
that is sooooooooooooooooooo cool! congrats!
i can picture it now...every 30 seconds you'll find yourself humming: "starring everybody, and me!"
*wants to be in a movie too*
we're all bad spellers (well, not all, but a lot of us)...look at Byron! you don't have to go back and correct them, we can usually get the idea. if you really feel the urge to though, there's an "edit" button on your post...try using that
heck look at how many of MY posts are edited...
as for your other questions, i can answer 2...mostly
"Nekkid" Rowlf (wouldn't it be funny if they put that on the card?) will eventually be available. he was bumped further back into the line to give strength for something else. if you want my GUESS as to what it is, it'll be a Rowlf that...
you know...i've actually never thought of that...
that would have saved me so much grief...gonna have to remember to do that from now on...
thanks!
*would like to point out that this is NOT sarcasm, i really DIDN'T think about it in the past, though it makes perfect sense*
on the Palisades website, it says that Australia will be getting at least the exclusives through "Croftminster". it was in the Muppets section under "exclusives". if they're carying that, i'd assume they're going to have regular figs too.
you're no crazier than the rest of us...just look at the saga of the letter "C" in various places on the board.
personally, i'd LOVE to see Muppeteer figures, but i doubt they could do it. if i remember correctly, someone said they already said "no" to a figure of the Jim Henson Muppet...
everyone chill! Ken already said there were enough to cover all of us, so no one's going to be left out. check your email filters and be patient. some email servers are so antiquated that it's going to take awhile. if they get a bounce, i'm sure they'll let us know.
take a deep breath and...
actually, that's the VERY limited "wig" Piggy. because she is after all, a pig, and pig's don't actually have hair, she must of course be wearing a wig. Palisades decided to go with this line of thinking and had produced some before Henson told them they that was no longer acceptable. i'd...
he hasn't said much of anything about the minis yet...they JUST announced them. i'd say the arches are probably a pretty safe bet, though...seeing as he kept saying that's what he wanted.
it's not like he's the production designer or anything...
