actually, Beaker'd make a better C-3P0...they both get blown up a lot...

but then Bunsen as R2 would have to do all the talking...

Re: Now The Skinny...

So in addition to a lot of new characters now being available to us, we also have the two new categories in addition to the figures. You know of the Mega Muppets, and now we will also be doing PVC figurines. This has been in the works for some time, actually about 2-3 months. Not a lot to say about them just yet but they will not be articulated small figures. They will be posed, PVC statues, and the plan is to try to provide people with something that is totally different than the figures and to try to have them placed in places you don't normally see the figures as well. It should be a really fun product. They will most likely be released in sets, in between releases of the figures. Lots of detail and lots of suprises.
that's direct from Ken's post on page 195, marked "now here's the skinny"...hope it helps

Ken didn't say anything about the archway display idea for the minis. Is that still undesided?

he hasn't said much of anything about the minis yet...they JUST announced them. i'd say the arches are probably a pretty safe bet, though...seeing as he kept saying that's what he wanted.

it's not like he's the production designer or anything...

Baz - they announced they are doing PVC's but had been negotiating it for two or three months. It actually brings to mind that little 'spontaneous' Mini Vs PVC debate we all had in the mini's thread. All of the people who are Palisades confidents off-forum immediately jumped on the unarticulated PVC bandwagon - wierd that huh ?

Of course our resident gopher accidentally gave away the fact they were doing the PVC's when he started writing "the PVC's are going to be" half way through but it was obvious anyway ! :stick_out_tongue:

The PVC info stated in my post was already stated by Ken a few pages back into it. The whole thing was a hypothesis, though I figured it was a done deal as did most people.

A picture of "dad" would make a good accessory somewhere.

Go back and read it Jamie. The PVC info was the same, but Ken was saying (along the lines of) 'If i was going to do it, i'd do it that way' yet by the end you were saying 'they are doing this' - thats kinda how i figured they were doing it, maybe you did it by mistake but as a usually relaible source you were indeed relied on !
