heh...depends on who you ask, i guess...i just wanted to point out that those weren't MY choices. i just think they seem to have a better argument than the opposition's "because it's wrong", and was giving them credit for that.
I'm currently working on a project that I would LOVE to get some help on. There are a lot of different people here, with a LOT of different interests and tastes...so my question is this:
What things would you like to see as toys/collectibles that aren't already?
Now this can be anything...
am i the only one getting "page cannot be displayed" when i go to Palisades site? i tried before i went to work, and i'm trying now that i'm home, but it just won't go...
man...what is there something in the water that's making us all nasty recently? Patty's arguments may be a bit out there, but she's still entitled to them...stop beating her up about it.
that being said, i think Patty needs to sit down and watch Kevin Smith's "Dogma". people protested...
okay, no one has posted since i wrote this, so it's not gonna make sense when i change the avatar and sig again with this post in place, so...so that people know, before i changed it just now, it was the Space Ghost avatar with the following for the sig:
Space Ghost: "Come on, Zorak, you know...
Beaker and kansasteen14
ladies and gentlemen...may i introduce to you:
the pot and the kettle...
seriously boys, have you looked at this thread objectively at all? it's pretty funny. you both come in here making wild "you must" claims, and dismissing things out of hand. but you both...
that was pretty much my conclusion too...which is why i went ahead and said something. they're billing it as the real thing, and someone's gonna believe it. i wanted to debunk it before that happened, i just like being dramatic.
of course...if it IS true, i just made a BIIIIIG boo-boo, as i...
er...maybe someone can shed some light on this.
Ken and Travis both said they were purposly holding back on pics of the Animal Mega...yet today i found this:
http://www.action-figure.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=5627&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0
now, they list it...
i'm so glad i'm not the only person who thinks that it's a dead on impression. though i always thought it was more Rowlf than Teeth (yeah, yeah, i know...), and then it sounds JUST like Animal with the yelling at the end...
i think Ken actually said at one point or another that that was the impetus behind ditching them...so they could spend the money they cost on more/better accessories.
i thought it wasn't just U.S. but "North America" which would include Canada...i very well could be wrong. BTW, the "thing in the swamp" was called Meg Muttlebones (or something like that), and i once met the man who played her. he really is the nicest guy, and you may have seen him out of the...
mark your calendars, folks...i have an actual question.
Ken, how much do you have to do with the G.I. Joe Busts? i just saw the upcoming Destro one, and i have to admit...i'm sold. busts seem to be the new "thing" but i've been able to avoid them. i havn't even picked up the Transformers...
i could see them doing "32 Footsteps" or "Don't Let's Start" by They Might Be Giants...or even "Older"
"If I Had A Million Dollars" - Barenaked Ladies
"I Wanna Be Sedated" - The Ramones
"After Midnight" - Clapton
that's all i can really think of right now that might be good...more later maybe.
the truth is, no one knows what the "something special" for nekkid Rowlf is going to be yet. Ken and company are keeping it for a surprise. my guess is we'll find out in febuary at toyfair
wow...the two best comments i've yet read on the subject...jivepuppet, you officially need to talk more, and cantus' ghost, welcome to the group! excellent points from you both!
Re: The Degenerate
"evil will assume a presence"? people actually talk like that? no offense, but that's about as ridiculous as anything i've ever heard. why would you think the Muppets would allow those type of images in their movie? because that's what you're saying...you're saying that...
