I was thinking about this. Here's who I have some recorded work by (this includes soundtracks, one song on a compilation, etc.)

Elton John
Julie Andrews (My Fair Lady)
Gene Kelly (Singin' In The Rain)
Paul Simon
Harry Belafonte
Lou Rawls
Steve Martin (Little Shop of Horrors)
John Cleese (Monty Python CD's)
Joel Grey (Cabaret)
Rita Coolidge (James Bond compilation)
Petula Clark (Andrew Lloyd Webber compilation)
Alice Cooper
Leo Sayer (Charlie's Angels soundtrack)
Zero Mostel (Fiddler On The Roof)
Danny Kaye (Baseball's Greatest Hits)
Diana Ross
Arlo Guthrie (Woodstock)
John Denver
Dizzy Gillespie
Liza Minnelli (My Favorite Broadway: Leading Ladies)
Shirley Bassey (James Bond compilation)
Debbie Harry
Johnny Cash

In addition, I have records featuring most of these folks, and a compilation featuring Crystal Gayle. Special note should also be given to the fact that I have a lot of Mel Brooks movies which featured Dom DeLuise, Madeline Kahn, Harvey Korman, Cloris Leachman, and in one instance, Zero Mostel.

THANK YOU! I was wondering when "The Producers" would be reissued on DVD. All that's out now is the making of the cast album of the Broadway smash hit (12 Tonys, y'know).

Actually, the only difference between the play and the movie is that the character of Lorenzo St. DuBois (LSD) has been phased out. I would have loved to have seen the show when Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick were still in it, not to mention Jeffry Denman (who wrote a book about his experience in the show). I had met Mr. Denman when he was in CATS.

Now that we know that, when will the Muppet Show ep with Zero Mostel be available to the general public? I may prefer Topol over him when it comes to the question of who played Tevye better in "Fiddler On The Roof", but I liked him in just about anything else I've seen him in. ("The Producers" and "The Front")

I have several recordings of songs that the Muppets performed without the original artists. "I go to Rio" "Brick House" "Time in a Bottle" "She loves you"

I don't have much. Not much at all!

Paul Simon (ok, he's my favorite musician, so of course I have a lot of his stuff. I have almost every Simon & Garfunkle album in either CD or record form, and I have a lot of his solo work).

Elton John

John Denver (my Mom has TONS of his records, so I've borrowed a few of 'em and listen to them on my record player)

I told you it's not much!
