i've been using the 3M super 77 spray. it's worked really well so far, but i think it might be a little difficult to use if you're gluing that many darts. brush on cements would probably be better for that.
sci-fi
"van helsing", "the chronicles of riddick", and "i, robot" are a few that i'm looking forward to seeing. i'm just glad that there's a few good-looking sci-fi movies coming out. it seems like there's been a sci-fi/horror drought lately. :smirk:
very nice. i love to see progression over time. not that the earlier puppets are bad, but i can tell that your style changed a bit by the time gabe was built. thanks for posting! :D
welcome! the bubble fur looks sweet...but i noticed the little holes, too. maybe the holes could be patched up w/ dyed cotton balls that match one of the colors? cool site, though. :D
the only places that i've found to be helpful online are Buck-Beaver's tutorial page, and the blue boy pattern. i think trial and error is a huge part of figuring out exactly where you need darts for the specific head you want to make. good luck!
welcome to the forum. i'm pretty sure that we're all very familiar w/ crank yankers. i'm not too sure as to where you can find a puppet that looks exactly like the crank yankers'. armslength used to sell some puppets that were similar, but you can't get it off of their site anymore. i know that...

yeah...something like that. i have a hancock fabric nearby, so i'll have to check it out. i know that there's a "fun fur" yarn out there that i might try, too. i think a sheet of fur would be easier to attach though. thanks guys!
