A Great Muppet Caper - CBS Network teaser from 1990

Great find. Wondering if this aired before of after Jim's death on May 16 of that year.

    Favorite Non-Henson TV Shows

Yeah, I gave it a watch. It felt very underwhelming, almost like a regular episode with a "finale-like" montage tacked on at the end. I really enjoyed the show during the first 3 seasons though.

    Happy new year

I predict there will be a new Disney+ series announced that will be canceled after one season like the other ones.

Why was Dave Goelz not very involved on Sesame Street?

Good question here. I guess they just didn't have a place for him, kinda like how Caroll Spinney worked primary with Sesame and rarely interacted with The Muppet Show.

Thousands sign petition against trans 'extravaganza' at Macy's Thanksgiving parade

This is another laughable "controversy" by people who claim to hate cancel culture but spend their time cancelling groups they don't like.

    PBS Kids was influential

Those are all good ones, loved the 2000s Clifford and haven't seen Dragon Tales in a long time.

Has the woke movement or neoconservative movement gone too far?

I never understood why anyone would get so worked up over gender swaps. If you don't like it, go watch the original version. As far as book banning, I oppose that type of censorship.

Selling Count It Higher 1988 VHS

UPDATE: I received a bid on "Count on Higher" so if anyone is interested in buying it, there's only about a day and a half left to place your bid. https://www.ebay.com/itm/266490443876 And "Big Bird's Party Games" is still here. https://www.ebay.com/itm/266497283358

Sesame Street Season 56: Major changes and yet another format change

What's funny is that Sesame Street is basically adopting the format of the average PBS Kids show despite being on HBO Max now. Most of the shows on PBS (Arthur, Clifford, Curious George, Martha Speaks etc.) have two, 11-minute stories and some semi-related bits in the middle (whether it be...

Sesame Street Season 56: Major changes and yet another format change

This feels like the end of an era, but I don't think it's necessarily bad. There's hardly enough time for in-between bits anyways given the main story takes up 10 minutes and Elmo's World takes about 5 too (plus theme song and credits). And they phased out most of the good bits a long time...

Selling Count It Higher 1988 VHS

I am selling the original 1988 release of the "Count It Higher" VHS tape. This is a rare one with a green tape. The tape runs perfectly. Here is the listing below if you are interested in buying, the starting bid is just $14.30. https://www.ebay.com/itm/266478227008 I am also still selling...

Roscoe Orman is returning to Sesame Street as Gordon!

I am glad to see Gordon return, especially as the other cast members sadly pass away. Would be cool to see Maria as well.

The Problems with Modern Sesame Street

I have some bold ones. - They'll learn about sharing and caring - They'll teach about the ABCs and the 123s - There will be songs and celebrity guests

The Problems with Modern Sesame Street

And, I really don't know if Sesame Street would have survived past the '90s without Elmo. He was their cash cow and kept the show alive as other kid show competitors started popping up.

The Problems with Modern Sesame Street

Frankly, at this point, the obsessive hate for Elmo is more annoying than the character.

    Cröonchy Stars

Has anyone on the site ever tried the Swedish Chef's cereal "Cröonchy Stars"? I wonder if any boxes of it still exist. With it being featured in "The Muppets Mayhem", I hope it makes a comeback one day.

When would the next Muppet film have released if Jim hadn't died?

Great video, Grumpo! I would have been most interested to see Muppets Time Machine and The Muppets Leave Hollywood. Very neat concepts that I had never heard of before. Meanwhile, The Next Muppet Movie sounds a lot like the 2011 film mixed with Most Wanted, but still fascinating.
