Why isn't Louis Kazagger around anymore?

Sometimes characters get retired, and quite often for no apparent reason.

The "I Did Something Stupid Today" Thread

Yeah, you kind of have to open the microwave door every once in a while before it starts to completely bubble over so you can let the air out. I usually use milk instead of water in general, I think it makes the cocoa taste richer and creamier.

    Question about Muppet Treasure Island

While I'm unsure of the answer to your first question, the answer to the second question is that most of them weren't... often times, puppets are recycled for various projects and movies... if you look closely, you'll see some of the puppets that were pirates in MTI were poor people/beggars in...

    Yeah, it better be.

Any songs performed by Joey Mazzarino?

I know what that's like... I can't sing to save my life... even today, listening to Steve TRY to sing "America the Beautiful" is painful to listen.

Retrofitting a Puppet for an Eye Mech

Gee, what an informative thread, ;lol.

    Wimzies House?

The puppets on WH had solid black mouths inside, but like the Muppets, they too had heart-shaped tongue that were like a magenta, or a hot pink... I can't remember exactly, I'd have to look through my tapes, but I believe their tongues were carved from foam. But then again, a LOT of non-Muppet...

    The song that defines Christmas

If you ask me, there's three answers to that... 1. If we're talking about the TRUE meaning of Christmas (as in celebrating the birth of Christ the Lord), I'd say "Joy to the World". 2. If the more secular aspect of Christmas, then I'm inclined to say "The MOst Wonderful Time of the Year", my...

Why are SST PVC figurines so hard to find?

I've gotten the Super Grover, Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster and Mumford from that set... but they were single, and were retailed by Fisher-Price instead of Tyco... I cut out the collectable trading cards from the back of the packages, and they all (but Mumford) have the Fisher-Price logo. :smirk:

Christmas Elf Puppet on eBay Terry Angus

Aw, how cute! I also like what you did with her eyes, I usually design my female characters with those similar little eyelashes, and they always look good on puppets, I think.

The CHRISTMAS on Muppet Central Forum thread

*Dresses up in all red* The Jolly Red Giant has returned, and once again, I bear stuff! *Reaches into bag, and pulls out a bent shovel, with red stripes painted on it* Who wants a jumbo candy cane?

    Wimzies House?

The overall music may have left little to be desired, but I remember loving a lot of the songs from that show; some of the numbers they had were real toe-tappers, while others may have been more emotional, but were still sing-a-long-able. BTW, if anyone isn't aware, I have a clip of Wimzie's...

    Wimzies House?

Too true... whenever I design new characters for myself, I usually try my hardest and my best to make sure they have a lot of originality to them, though admittedly, Steve's design was borrowed and changed slightly from an AM monster from SST, and I honestly didn't intend to do so much with him...

I guess we'll just have to upload them directly from our computers from now on.

    My View on "New Looks"

I totally agree. But with that said, again characters evolve over the years, even in these days, and they probably always will... after all, look at all these years of Rosita having wings and then recently losing them.

    Wimzies House?

Sometimes, I wonder though if JHC at the point was suing simply to try to have a monopoly on television puppetry? You know, in a way, if that was the case, that'd be like the Disney company suing another animation company because they feel their characters look too Disney-esque. That's really my...
