And I DON'T mean that the way it sounds...
What I mean, has there ever been a special moment in your life as a puppeteer where you really felt like you knew you were not only doing your job, but were doing a GOOD job at that?
For me, it's just knowing that I have the ability to bring...
Even most fabric stores I go to don't have THAT many colors to choose from, lol.
If you can't get antron fleece, then yes, felt does work pretty good, though I would recommend trying blizzard fleece - it's not antron, but it's relatively fuzzy as well, and hides seams very well; I've managed...
If there are any female puppeteers here in Knoxville, or in the East Tennessee area, please let me know, as I'll be needed some soon enough, as ironically, most of my characters are girls, lol.
1. Eh, not the best year I've ever had... which is odd, considering that usually years that end in odd numbers are exceptionally good years for me, and years that end in even numbers aren't so much... but 2008 was a pretty darn good year, so I don't know, it's like the whole world's been turned...
Very long shot I know, but does ANYBODY have John Gregory's instrumental version of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus"? I've been looking for it for years - Excite doesn't have it, nobody's used it on YouTube (or either they have and it got removed), and I simply cannot find anywhere... does...
Elf is really the ONLY Will Ferrell movie worth watching, lol.
I like how for a modern movie, they tried to give it a classic look - ala trick camera angles with the actors (Will and Ed Asner on a platform in the foreground, with the others as elves in the distance in the background), the...

That's an interesting hunch; you know, that could be very well the case, but in all honesty, I really don't see how this show could be decidely inferior, as I remember it did have a bit of a following.
We have threads like "Best Movie Ever", "Worst Movie Ever", "Creepiest Movie Ever", etc... but with it being the holiday season, we need a thread for favorite holiday movies.
I'ma start with a lesser-known gem - has anyone ever seen On the Second Day of Christmas with Mary Stuart Masterson...
I forgot how draining puppet building can be... at least Bethany (Steve's girl) is turning out great, but The Squirrely Squirrels are looking pretty awful; but then again, I'm not even really happy with the designs I turned out anyway, because I wasn't exactly sure how I wanted them to look...
Yep. Well, I'm actually conceiving a couple of puppet sitcoms, but I've only really gotten one concept off the rocks, whereas the other one hasn't gone beyond character designs.
In the meantime, they've been kind of put on hold at the moment, as I've recently been building some new characters...
