I guess none of that really matters, considering it isn't very likely that Mexican children ever seen the American Sesame Street, while it isn't very likely that American children ever see Plaza Sesamo.
That or the "evil twin" concept.
Depending on the show and the characters, like on Bewitched with Samantha's "evil" twin cousin Serena, but then there's a case like on I Dream of Jeannie where Jeannie not only has an evil twin sister named Jeannie, but an evil twin mother named Jeannie as...
Yeah, I even remember reading in Caroll's book about how no other country was allowed to have Big Bird, but because of the impact of Big Bird in China, they decided to let the Chinese co-production have their own Big Bird.
I remember how he described the auditioning process, and that there...
I've noticed a few characters within the Peanuts universe getting attention for a while, then later kind of fading away, then later still resurfacing a little bit.
Like Violet for example and Frieda (that's her name isn't it? The one with the "naturally curly hair")?
Pig Pin also seemed to...
I remember from "The Best of Ernie and Bert" tape, when Gina is looking through Ernie and Bert's scrapbook with Big Bird and Ernestine, she remarks that Ernie and Bert in Egypt visiting the pyramids was her favorite moment of theirs.
I can't help but wonder if that might have also be Alison...
Yeah, I agree minor muppetz, recalling the Season One episodes and clips I've seen, the show usually ended with Gordon saying a farewell to the audience on behalf of everyone else on that particular episode, or in that particular closing scene.
Personally, whenever I think of like the "number...
Who puts icing on muffins anyway? Unless they can't tell the difference between a muffin and, as Cookie Monster says, "cuppiecake". :insatiable:
On an unrelated note, the studios have rejected a sequel to "Osnowthy" saying that it would mess with not only fate, but the fabric of time. O.O
Curious, I looked around to see what I could find, and amazingly, I didn't see any Peanuts forums. O.O
There might be some Yahoo! Groups or something, but those aren't really good, because people tend to forget about them easily, and after a while if there's no activity, the owner will shut it...
Another little error that just crossed my mind is the mention that Cookie Monster doesn't have a hole in his mouth.
Maybe he doesn't NOW, but he sure did USED to - Christmas Eve on Sesame Street is a prime example of that, as we watch him eat a pencil, later a typewriter (with the ribbon...
You know 'em and love 'em... age-old plots that get used over and over and over and voer and erov and vero and rove and oerv and eorv and veor and ovre and orev and over again to the point that no matter what the situation or what the characters or even what the franchise is that pretty much...
Someone mentioned Jerry Nelson was there, I must have overlooked him amongst the excitment over the cake (and how dumbfounded with surprise Cookie was, lol).
I said it before, and I'll say it again, if the hype was this big over SST's 40th, imagine how big a hype there'll be when they turn 50...
Or if you listen carefully during Patti LaBelle's Gospel Alphabet, you can hear Little Chrissy's hands hitting the piano keys.
BTW OF, that link you provided doesn't work. :smirk:
Whatever happened to Tara anyway? She pretty much disappeared after 2000 or so, and then in like Season 33, they had an episode where a new girl moved into the neighborhood who also happened to be in a wheelchair, while Big Bird showed her around the street and introduced her to everybody. I...
Actually, you've got a point there Drtooth of the Mighty Film Corporation (lol).
I'm not sure about the Dingers, but I think if Honkers actually honked, they might be audible, but as you said, it probably would've been faded slightly. Keeping mind how loud those kinds of horns can get, lol.
Gee, even the forum awards are no exception, as Seymour Phillip Hoffman has already been banned. :sympathy:
Well, I guess that's what he gets for stealing the Oscar from his more talented twin brother Phillip Seymour Hoffman last year. :smirk:
:grouchy:: He did what now?
