YES! "You can call me Nannerpus, Nannerpus! And guess what?" *Knocks off eye, and tentacle gets caught in the strings* "I love pancakes!"
Have you seen the Asian Nannerpus on YouTube? "You kin coll me Nanna-pusu, Nanna-pusu! Giss whut? I'm a bananananananananana!"
A similar plot was used over and over and over and over and over again in Chipmunk fanfics for the longest time - Jeanette falls for Simon, Simon seems to fall for someone else, Jeanette's heartbroken, someone else helps her with her confidences, they end up together. It got old after a while...
Yeah, but look how long it took them to actually do something with the Muppets, it's been YEARS of empty promises, and while yes there have been all of these TV appearances and promos and such, that's not much.
Disney is still, irregardless, not a good company to work with, that's just the...
Someone previously mentioned disappointment about how selective the clip from the hurricane episode was (I wasn't fond of the music that was added either), I thought I'd also add the selectiveness of the Hooper's Store fire clip as well - it starts up after the firefighters had put it out, so we...
Besides, I honestly don't think that adults writing in complaining about Elmo is going to help much, because the show isn't aimed at us, it's aimed at the little kids watching, and apparently, they're the ones who are responding to Elmo, which is why he's so popular.
I think the main reason...
Embarrassingly, I don't even remember the original "I Have a Chair", but then again, that was before my time, so TJ's version is the one I remember the most.
I'm not in a wheelchair myself, but I rather like the TJ bits, because it speaks to kids who are in wheelchairs. I especially like the...
Whatever happened to the old days when they shot around a cast member's real-life pregnancy? Doing shots from the chest up, hiding her behind various objects if wider-angle shots are necessary, bringing in a double for certain shots like from behind, etc...
Did you know that Joe Murray originally wanted Silvestri to compose the new theme for the second season of Rocko's Modern Life before he had to settle with The B-52s?
He interacts with Ernie (off camera) in that one. Besides, I didn't really count his solo acts, speaking to the kids at home, if so, I would've added his "Oatmeal Box" song to the list as well as the games he plays on Play with Me Sesame.
Off the top of my head...
- Singing "Take a Rest" with Cookie and Grover (a smash hit by 'The Oz-born Brothers')
- Unscripted bit with John-John
- A honker on his birthday
- Trading his paperclip collection to Mr. Hooper for a soapdish for Ernie
- Asking Simon Soundman how he's able to...
So I was looking at this Valentine's Day card today, and the front of it said in bold, colorful letters - "IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED AT SEEING TWO PEOPLE ENGAGING IN SEXUAL ACTS, DO NOT OPEN".
I opened the card, and inside is said, in plain, simple letters - "Happy Valentine's Day, you pervert!"
Sorry for taking the thread back two steps, but I'm reminded of one kind of plot device that I am absolutely sick to death of - the glorification of sex.
Maybe it's because of the way I was raised and my upbringing, but I hate how sex is glorified in movies and TV, and a lot of the times...
I don't care about who wins, I'm always into the pwnsome new commercials of the year.
I doubt anything can compare to the epicness of Nannerpus from last year.
I never heard of this cartoon, but the name Bill Kopp DOES sound familiar to me for some reason...
As for "Savage" Steve Holland, I only recognize his name because he wrote my favorite episode of Kenan and Kel in which the two forget to tend of Chris's house while he's on vacation.
Dude, yeah! Tell me about it!
I've probably played Yoshi's Island in it's entirety maybe three or four times, and defeating the magically/genetically enlarged Bowser never got any easier.
But who doesn't love the Yoshis debut in Super Mario World? Now THERE'S a game I haven't played in...
That one was considered racy to a degree back in the old days of TV, referencing an episode of Bewitched in which Darrin and Larry end up switching bodies... and them getting in bed with each other's wives.
