Thanks for that info, John. I can't seem to get it on the website on my computer, so I'll just have to keep my eyes open for when my local PBS station plans to show it.
Thanks for the link, Phil. Unfortunately, I didn't see it because my local station aired Obama's Presidential address or something. The only thing is Sesame Workshop videos don't always work very well on my computer. It might not work for me this way either. I'll have to see what happens with that.
That would be good to see as well. I think if they aired a special on ABC which Disney owns that would be possible. They missed that chance in 'Elmo's Christmas Countdown.'
Yeah. I think the main reason for that was because there were too many 'imaginary Snuffy' references which kids who watch SS today wouldn't understand. But I still think that could have worked. They could maybe edit around the 'imaginary Snuffy' parts. Plus they'd also have Marty Robinson...
Oh, okay. I see it now. I guess that was sort of a Telly Monster proto-type, like Bugs Bunny had in a few cartoons before he became the Bugs we know today. It still would be nice to see a photo or video clip of that ep.
I deleted my last message because I wrote it before I read Fozzie's forum guidelines and I think it sort of went against the rules here, but if you're interested in hearing what I have to say, PM me.
Yeah. I agree with that completely. And while we're at it, I agree with you White Rabbit, for telling off Mike B! See, I couldn't say that on the other thread. I mean, not that I like to be mean to people or anything, but the guy asks for it.
Yeah. I might not post on these forums...
The Television Monster thing, you mean? That's a good question. I read a script for that, but I never actually thought of the fact that it might have been an unaired ep.
Yeah. I wanted to comment here, because I wonder where the mods are when we need them. In fact there is someone who often posts on the 'Sesame Street' forums who often criticizes when we try to nicely post our opinion on things (I won't mention any names here, but I think if he reads this...
Yeah. I agree with that. Recasts don't mean personal attacks against that person. It's just not the character we know. I didn't like that they replaced Harriette Winslow on the last season of 'Family Matters,' but it doesn't mean I think anything bad of Judyann Elder. I'm sure she's a great...
Yeah. I was thinking that too, but after seeing a heated argument between some people on this thread, I can sort of understand why. Still if people argue, they should be the ones that should be told about it, but still leave the thread open for the rest of us to post what we want to post...
Thanks, Phil. I got to admit, I was a little upset about the closing of the thread. Anyway, that's all over now and I'm glad we reopened this because I had more thoughts on the new or substitute Kermit (Artie Espinoage or something like that, according to Muppet Wiki). I sort of agree with the...
Yeah. Eric gets better with Piggy every time, but to me that Kermit didn't quite sound like Steve or Jim. I might need to listen again before I can make a judgment on that.
Yeah. I went to bed around 9:30. Did Statler and Waldorf or anybody else show up and if so what happened? I'd like...
Yeah. I didn't think Kermit sounded right either. I was wondering what was up with that.
I agree with most of the comments here. I'm hoping somebody else performing Kermit was just a one-shot deal. I'm hoping Steve will continue with him for as long as he is able. I'll write more after I...
That would be cool. You know how Sully can ramble on and on and he has a really cool voice too. Just kidding. Lol.
That would be hard to do. If that were the case, they'd probably still need Eric for Grover and Dave for Cookie Monster so one of them can perform one character while Frank...
