Well, it might be hard for Bert to yell at that point, considering his voice does sound stuffy without his nose.
Yeah. Bert did overreact about the painting thing. But his rant was mainly that he had other things to do that day and he didn't want to sit still for Ernie's painting only to...
Yeah. This thread hasn't been updated in a while so I don't know how Loretta's doing. Hopefully she'll be better by the time next season starts, or have they already started filming that before this happened?
I agree with that. A lot of times I'd be walking down the road and I'd see cars...
I find the Maria/Gina thing interesting, because in the 80s when I first started watching the show, Maria was already an adult, so Gina was the only one that I really saw 'evolve.' I remember that Gina used to have a Day Care Center, in fact, they show a glimpse of that in 'Elmo Saves Christmas.'
Well, Dave seemed to be pretty active this year. I mean Baby Bear got quite a bit of airtime and we've even got Cookie Monster in a few street scenes, so it's possible that he'll still be around. After all, how many Muppet Show characters does he perform? I know he's taken over as Scooter and...
That's a good question. I remember David was looking for help at Hooper's at the time and he hired Gina. I also remember her being one of the students in Gordon's class, but that's all I can tell you. I'm not exactly sure when her debut ep was.
Hmmm. That would 'splain why I didn't recognize him. I recall seeing Brian on 'the Muppet Show' episode intros. I don't think I've seen John. I know he's taken over Sweetums after Richard Hunt's death, but I'm not sure I've actually seen him anywhere outside of the costume. Makes one wonder...
I was wondering the exact same thing. I didn't see any sign of RF. (Not to be confused with Don Knotts' charter Ralph Furley. Lol.) I wonder what was up with that.
Hmmmm. I must have missed where they changed the lyrics. I did notice that they had a new singer there. His voice I...
I did have BB in mind there, so in a way I knew that he was the 'Big' Sarah was waiting for. Still I don't know why she'd call Big Bird just 'big.' Are you saying there's a character on Sex and the City named 'Big?'
Are you talking about today's ep? Since you mentioned it I did sort of wonder who that guy was. From a distance, I sort of thought he looked like Bob. I guess it's because I haven't seen Brian in anything lately. I'm wondering if there were any other hidden gems. When Leela said 'I'd even...
I agree. Even though she just appears in one ep per season now, she still remains a very important part of the show. Hopefully she'll recover and continue to be around for a while.
I was wondering the same thing. If they were having a romantic dinner for two, why in the world would they invite Big Bird. If I had a date and an eight-foot bird ended up joining us, the girl would probably freak. Lol. It might be worth checking out the description of that ep on Muppet Wiki.
Yeah. I heard about that. In fact in Jerry's interview, he mentioned that Matt is now doing the puppeteering for the Count, so I'm guessing he'd be next in line there for whenever Jerry retires from the role.
Okay, maybe a bit off-topic here, but that's something I never knew. I knew June was getting up there in years and a recast for Granny might be necessary someday, but I never knew it was because of that. Makes one wonder if Steve had those feelings about somebody else playing Kermit.
I'm...
Yeah. That stuff bothers me too. In fact I once had a minister at church who was against Harry Potter and stuff like that. It seems like people are too judgemental. Plus being a fan of 'Sabrina, the Teenage Wich,' I have reason to take offense there.
I see. It's alright. You don't need to apologize. In fact, I have been curious about that John Kennedy (Disney Cruise Lines) thing but I didn't want to post anything on that because we sort of got over that topic, but since this thread was updated it sort of gave me a chance. Though no one...
Wow! It's weird that we went from an Ernie/Abby interaction topic to a topic about episodes about eviction/management. Oh, well. This stuff had already been shown on MadTV anyway. I guess that's about all we'll get. Lol.
Yeah, but that was just a PWMS thing. Steve still is the official...
Hmmmm. I find it a little strange that this thread got bumped up recently after being dead for a while. I know we closed the 'Kismet the Toad' discussion and I'm not trying to stir up trouble, but while we're talking about this, there is something that I've been curious about. In Muppet Wiki...
