    Favorite Richard Hunt Character

Forgetful Jones I guess. Though I often envy his better-than-mine memory. Janice might be a close second.

    Favorite Frank Oz Character

Probably Miss Piggy and Cookie Monster.

Buffy Sainte Marie to retire from live performances

Yeah, her and Ruth Buzzi I get concerned about because they're still kicking but not in the best health. I was thinking it would have been nice if she Buffy could return to the show for a reunion or whatever, especially considering her time on the show was mainly before I was born, but now it...

Are Bert, Ernie, and Snuffleupagus still on Sesame Street?

Well, Pete's been Ernie for a few years now, so I don't think Steve's dismissal would have much do with that. About the gay people issue, I don't know since they have Frank and Dave now, but Sesame Workshop has always described Bert and Ernie as 'just friends.' I do wonder about Snuffy though I...

    Newer Sesame Street?

Oh, Telly and Louie are the same puppet? I never knew that. But yeah, seems like Telly is only seen in new material if the street story is a repeat invovling him. Considering how often he used to say 'what if,' it's interesting that he never really did an "I wonder. What if. Let's try."

    Favorite Dave Goelz Character

Probably Gonzo. I mean Dave's other characters are great and all, but none of the others quite seemed to match in popularity and legacy with the Great Gonzo.

    RIP Muppet Show Guests

Okay, I apologize for that. I'm happy that Julie is still with us as well as Brooke Sheilds and quite a few other TMS guests. So on a side note, I saw that today would have been Tony Bennett's birthday. Happy birthday in Heaven, Mr. Bennett.

Yeah, but for how long? I hear she's lost her singing voice years ago and I do wonder about her healthwise. After all, her "Sound of Music" co-star Christopher Plummer passed recently, so you never know.

Classic Sesame Street Outlines - Early 1980s Format

Really good, except Marty was Snuffy in seasons 13 and 14. Just thought I'd make that minor correction, but really good ideas.

Oh, right, Leonard Nimoy. (As Forgetful Jones) I forgot. Uh, hee. (Sorry for triple posting. I can't edit very well on my phone. I'll have to fix that later.)

And of course he did the legendary "Slimey to the Moon" with Big Bird.

ALL: Season 2 guest star Prince was the first to pass away.

So I just got the news that Tony Bennet died. I know he appeared on "Muppets Tonight!" rather than TMS, but I think he deserves an honorable mention here as well. He really did a great duet with Kermit on "Firefly."

    TMS outline- Andy Kaufman!

That would be cool. Maybe he could play Boris Badenov in a sketch. 😀

    Snuffy's name

So I saw on Muppet Wiki that Bert called him "Snuff" in a season 5 episode, contradicting an episode from the 80s where Bert thought Snuffy was imaginary too, but that could have been one of the earliest instances where he went by Snuff or Snuffy.

    Snuffy's name

Okay, I have a quick question after seeing some 70s episodes online. I noticed Big Bird used to commonly call Snuffy "Mr. Snufflupagus," so I'm curious as to when he started going by 'Snuffy.' I know it was by the time of the Hawaii story arc which was sometime in the 70s. Also, when was it...

The Muppets Mayhem Episode 4 - Track 4: The Times They Are A-Changin’

Loved the clip of "Rockin' Robin" from TMS.

Yeah, I thought I remembered him from SS. It's easy to forget because now we have another famous Alan on SS who's still kicking and seen on the show regularly, but yeah, I remember hearing about the other Alan being seen on the show early on.

The Muppets Mayhem Episode 3 - Track 3: Exile on Main Street

Great episode. Nice to see the backstory of how Floyd became Animal's official caretaker. Seems like they pulled a Bamm Bamm Rubble with that one though, just having the infant turn up on someone's doorstep without 'splaining who left him there, but still very good.

"The Rise of Gru?"It's interesting to note that he was in something that recent, that he's still been kind of active recently before his passing.
