That's Rick Atley. Are you sure you gave me the right link?
Though it makes sense that I haven't seen it though since season 53 didn't hit PBS yet I know these are filmed a little bit in advance too, so I was wondering why they didn't have a tribute to him until now. Maybe Bob's is coming...
Wow! I thought we'd get more comments here, but I guess (11 months after the original airdate) I'll start. I liked seeing a Big Bird centered episode. (This may be the first I've seen him do an IWWILT.) It's weird that I still can't get used to Matt's Big Bird voice though even though he's been...
Hmm. Still no reaction here. I guess I couldn't compete with CoolGuy's April Fool's. That would be cool though, especially the tribute to Luis and Bob. Though CoolGuy mentioned they already did something like that for Luis, something fir Bob I could see maybe like the cast singing some of his...
BIG SURPRISES SESAME STREET SEASON 54
From SesemeWorshop.com, big news about season 54, for Sesame Street's 55th anniversary we'll see big surprises including a new rebuild of the Barkley full-body costume. It's rumored that Bruce Connelly will be reprising the role. A five-part story arc where...
You can say that again. Though I didn't really recognize her at first until Elmo called her Gladys. I know Jen's been performing her for quite some time but she appears so sporadically that I forgot what she sounds like now. Plus I think her coloring was different. Maybe I've been watching too...
You know, I knew right away with the "Om Nom Nom" sound that they should have checked with Cookie Monster. Though I was wondering if he may have been a false clue. Though we know CM doesn't have beak or horns, so that's what could have been what through them off. Still with Elmo and Abby...
You know I wonder what Rocco's fate is now that Zoe has Gary the Gecko. Then again Elmo still has Dorothy even after he got Tango, so Zoe could have two pets as well. (Just one live one.) You never know.
Nope. He still has Dorothy. Recall at the end, he introduced Tango to Dorothy. (Sorry if I'm giving away a spoiler here, but I think we've all seen this by now.)
Okay. That's something to look forward to especially considering the current bald Gordon is one of the few cast members of "Classic Sesame Street" that are still living.
Yeah, they really need more Bert, Ernie and Oscar since those characters are mainly the comic relief. (Though I guess Bert would be more of the straight man type.) Anyway, nice to see something different other than all this "I wonder, what if, let's try' stuff.
Well, if Bert wanted to leave by...
Agreed. If I hear that song one more time on the show, I swear I'm going to scream.
Wow! I didn't think of that. Would have been neat if he had said it.
I was a little disappointed that I didn't see this episode until today. I know this one was supposed to air on PBS back in April, either my PBS affiliate missed that one or maybe I never caught it when it did air. We'll see what happens with the autism awareness episode for this year.
Captian Kangaroo? When was he on MT. I thought the first guest on that one was Michelle Pfeiffer unless there was an unaired pilot or something, but I thought Bob died before MT aired.
Racquel's gone too? I thought she was still active lately. Well, she'll dearly be remembered for her duet with Miss Piggy on "I'm a Woman/Wopig" and as Aunt Vesta on "Sabrina." She'll be dearly missed.
I remember those types of puppet characters from those commercials. I think one was performed by Artie Esposito who subbed for Steve as Kermit for a time in 2009, but I think Wally was the character I remember and that was a while ago. I don't think I'm familiar with Lenny, but that's...
