Yeah, the fifties and sixites Muppet stuff is all my favorites. The timing, I don't know. They worked very differently in a shorter time frame. NBot necessarily better, but differently. They had less time, so the jokes were all strung together and quick-paced.
I was actually thinking of noting that. I just didn't know if it would have been an appropriate speculation or not. Oh, well. You said it much better than I ever could have.
anyway, I'm actually shocked that more people don't note all of Frank's recent (well, not recent, but more recent)...
Weeeeeell, almost, but not quite. Remember, The Great Muppet Caper, where Gonzo takes Jim's picture at the "supper club", had already been released at the time. Though, it is much more memorable. I wouldn't necessarily say THE MOST memorable cameo, that'd probably have to be his cameo at the end...
The question's been answered. We can muffin the thread all we want now.
Like Sarah said, I think we all know where to keep silliness where it belongs, and seriousness where it bleongs.
"For everything there is an appointed time."
Psssssssssst!
Hey!
Hey, you!
Come here.
Come closer.
Come closer.
Closer.
A little closer.
Just a tad bit closer.
There!
That's good.
Hey.
Guess what?
Guess what I just heard?
I just heard that there's something....
Something....
Something...
open up your email, and I most certainly will!
It will most likely be a few weeks (at the most, two or three) for the actual trade because I'm currently doing a trade with someone that is taking forever on my part. I wish I could get it done quicker, buit I am just so busy. busy, busy, busy...
well, you already know the favorite food, but another fact I read somewhere: Jim wasn't a strict vegetarian. he just didn't eat red meats or a lot of sweets. Seafood and chicken, though, that's another story. Though I'm sure he indulged in that blueberry pie every so often. :) It's funny...
I'd just like to add something to that...
If Jim had felt betrayed by Frank's doing other projects, don't you think he would have mentioned it to him? I'm sure if Jim had felt that way, Frank would have gladly (well, maybe not gladly, but he would have realized why Jim felt that way) given it...
I saw Matchstick Men last night (I got the first ticket to the second showing) and it was amazingly BRILLIANT! You kinda get the gist of how smart it is within the first ten minutes, but don't ever guess JUST how intelligent the movie turns out to be until the last ten.
I have a new respect...
