Why not a Studebaker? It seems like thde type of car a comedian would drive... more particular, a bad comedian. Just imagine how many jokes you could make about a car with a name like that!
Most kids are just not exposed to the Muppets anymore. And it's not because they're not out there. Parents just automatically assume it's the type of thing you have to grow out of. My dad's a bit like that, not too much though. It's a mind-set. Once you reach a certain age, you HAVE to stop...
Most just don't care one way or the other. I have found a few fellow Muppet fans, one of which got to see every episode of it when it originally aired.
Like I said one other time, the only real trouble I ever had was in a toy store, picking up Muppet action figures.
Yeah, Rizzo sang a song along with Fozzie, Link, and Lew Zeland. It's the one where they go, "Another opening of another show." He sang the line, "Two weeks, will it ever be right???"
These things happen everywhere, unfortunately. "Hicksville" the city, everywhere. Rochester, NY, only about an hour from where I live, has a higher crime rate than New York City. A town fifteen minutes from here is considered "Little Rochester", again, because of the crime rate.
You'd probably like the original. It's really the exact same story, anyway. Harrison Ford played the re-make part very much like Humphrey Bogart played the original. There's really only one major difference. In the original, Sabrina went to Paris to learn how to cook.
To me, Kermit the Frog is Kermit the Frog. He'll always be Kermit the Frog, no matter how he sounds. So long as the character is still the same, he's still Kermit the Frog. Yes, there is something speical about Jim Henson's performance of Kermit, that I'll tell you right now. There's no avoiding...
I have two movies to add to my list:
Dr. Strangelove: Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World
I just saw Dr. Strangelove tonihgt. What a brilliant movie! It's hillarious!
"Hello, Dimitri?"
If I were a poet,
I would write a sonnet.
It would say "I love you."
Your name would be upon it.
If I were a farmer,
I'd give you a bunny.
If I had a beehive,
You would get free honey.
Fa la la (many times)
If I were a baker,
You could have a cruller
If I were a painter,
Choose...
Hi-ho!
:)
Favorite movie, The Muppet Movie/The Great Muppet Caper. Favorite song: probably Rainbow Connection, but there's a lot to pick from. Favorite Muppet: Kermit the Frog, Scooter, Grover- ah, just look at my profile! lol!
