yeah, I'm thinking maybe we could squeaze Rowlf into the background somewhere. ;)
oh, btw, I want to add something for Zippity Zap, a character from Muppets Tonight. A real neat Bill Barretta character!
do you think maybe we should put the Electric Mayhem in there somehwere? Wouldn't...
'course out hai-re in the country we gotta get them thar little piggly-wigglies up on the dang-their rip-roarin' race track and rush 'em round in the mud 'til 'eir wallowin' round like a bunch o'... well, dang pigs! You know, muh family's getting' over-crowded, and under-fed, maybe I oughta open...
:sing:
Deep in the Hundred Acre Woods
Where Pokemon run away
Where evil dark lords just cannot stand
The wonderful childhood ways...
A mouse namde Mickey, he came close
But SpongeBob was far away.
There was Frodo, and Sully
And a spider
But most of all Winnie the Pooh.
Winnie the Pooh...
It's German:
"Ach Du Leburn (I have no clue what this means)
Volkswagen car (get it?)
Saurbraten (a type of food)
Vindershnitzel (again, food)
Und de Wunderbar ("and the Wonderful". Wunderbar is also a type of balognia, which is what I think they were going for here.)"
Johnny Fiama, several ocassions; Bobo sang "I'm a Believer"; Pepe sang his usual duet with Seymour:
"I'm Seymour,
I'm Pepe
We're two of a kind!
I'm a little bit forward
And I've got a big behind."
as well as the numerous re-workings of that song.
Bill Barretta sang quite frequently during Muppets Tonight, and besides, Jim Henson never thought he could sing anyway. He most certainly could, and it was hilarious/touching/whatever to hear him do so.
We could most deffenitly fit him into one of the casino scenes. Unfortunately, it would only be a cameo in the background. And whether he's in the final thing, if it gets made, or not is entirely up to the JHC, of course.
Beau, was my Gobo scene cut?
everybody, we can only answer questions...
Another Fraggle Rock character in Muppet Treasure Island would be Mudwell the Mudbunny from the episode "Gone, But Not Forgotten". In MTI, he played the pirate who sang the line from Cabin Fever:
"Manly men are weee!"
He also did that classic bit:
"Tom, tom, tom! Dead Tom's dead! Long...
Well, I really love Muppet Treasure Island and Muppets From Space (say what you want) (still haven't seen MCC), and also love Muppets Tonight. But, yeah, things have been different since 1990.
I do love IAVMMCM, too though.
You know, one major thing is Jim was a film maker/puppeteer first and foremost. He was constantly pushing his projects out and making the. He'd think up a story idea, and and make it happen. I think right now they're still trying to sort things out. JHC hs tuirned from movie makers to a company...
