Oooooh! Very nice!
I'm still having one problem, though. Whenever I come in here (at least on my computer) the text I type doesn't show up as I'm typing it. It always shows up long after I'm done typing it. I'm typing blind over here! It takes forever.
What's the name of it?
The A&E Biography of Sesame Street has some great behind-the-scenes footage as well... but that's just of Sesame Street. They show under the camera of Jim and Frank working Bert and Ernie. It's wonderful!
Oh, ok. I see. Thanks.
Beauregard, I have a new scene I'd like to send you... It's really short, don't worry, so if you wanted to write another brief scene, we could do that too.
Thank you. I just love Winnie the Pooh. Whenever I think of him, I remember the line from the movie (and book): "Promise you'll never leave me. Not even when I'm 100?" "How old shall I be then?" "99. Silly ol' bear." I always think of that cuz I got my first Winnie the Pooh doll when I was a...
Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to come off as being arguementive... whatever. I can assure you, I was being calm. I just wanted to mention that.
About his voice, yeah, it's high-pitched. But it seems that most of the older Muppets are these days.
He was directing movies for over ten years before that, Ryan. Little Shop of Horrors, Muppets Take Manhattan, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, just to name a few.
I think he was working on In & Out at the time of Muppet Treasure Island.
"...more depth to IT"?
Steve is a fine performer. I know you weren't dissing him, per-say, but he is an excellent performer. Really, the only performance given to us so far that would require the same depth Jim had with Kermit was in IAVMMCM (and maybe MCC). And remember, Jim originated the...
I didn't think we were selling them the script. I thought we were just giving it to them. Just as a fun little project to get us recognized, and to (hopefully) start the Muppets back in the right direction.
Wintertime is the most beautiful, wonderful time of the year! I love the snow, and I even love the cold. It's soo much better than that awful, digsuting heat.
And at night, the wintertime is twice as romantic, and even more beautiful.
I just love love love love love love love the snow, and...
Here's what the Jim Henson Company had to say about the show:
Sam & Friends was aired during the years 1955-1961 It was in the spring of 1955, when Jim began performing puppets on a WRC-TV 4 afternoon show and then on his own show, 'Sam and Friends' that included the following characters...
Elmo is just too cool! he's just so adorable!
The funny thing is, Wayne was acting like an enfatuated school-girl when Kermit was on, but he was all cool with Elmo.
I remeber Wayne couldn't resist giving Kermit a karate chop.
