Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
My only criticism (in addition to agreeing with Michael's comments about the frosted doughnut look on Sam) is that, looking at the series as a whole, there seems to be a running theme of semi-gloominess. The brown and blue colours dominate the overall look of the series, and it just makes the...
Maybe it's a mild disillusionment with the repaint concept. Having two figures with variants in a series might just be milking the idea. Just a theory.
here in Aus, SS is currently being screened in rotation with BitBBH. I tuned in last week to see if SS had begun again, and we're currently getting Play With Me Sesame in its place...
I like seeing all the old material, and the links are OK, but not that watchable in their own right... still...
I wanna plea, predict, hope, dream for playsets that house all figures in a certain "theme"...
* a ballroom or banquet for the tux variants
* the Hispianola (or however it's spelled) for the MTI figures

Bugger... the tv special probably won't air here in Australia. We never saw Very Merry Whatsamajigger... here's hoping Muppet Wizard comes out on DVD
Cherry "What a world! What a world!" Pizza
Hey, you just reminded me of something. For anyone who was a viewer of The Young Ones, remember the episode Interesting, in which the tomato in the fridge started singing...
I've been picked up by the cops,
So many times gone by
Where they grill you for an hour, And they say you're gonna...
Well, I've never seen anything on the packaging saying "Do not lay lay out all your figures out on the road or driveway and drive your car over them".
Got any spare figures, or any that are taking up space? Perhaps we could all get together with our excess figures, drive over them and sue...
That's ok with me, wouldn't wanna wear them anyway ;)
Looks like there's gonna be a growing group of ppl banned from her threads, is there some support group we can form? Maybe a 12-step program to deal with the rejection?
Maybe when you're completely miserable we'll say you're at...
"Stuff Elmo"... how many ways would we love to take THAT out of context!
Stuffing SS Muppets may slowly be evolving into a trend. What has this person started?

Hey all,
I have a vague memory of something like this being mentioned somewhere... and I'm fairly sure that if it has, it's been diagnosed as a long-shot... but hey, let us dream!
Anyways, If you could get a packet of semi-generic accessories that can be used with various figures, on...
Ah huh, now I'm with you!
We Muppet collectors have to become as creative as Henson when it comes to finding space for our stuff. Hey, that's why so much of my collection lives on the walls (btw, these are old photos, the collection's grown quite a bit since then... and I still manage to...
The chef/chicken thing is a nice idea... if you can find the space (no pun intended) in the Swine Trek!
Cherry "still confuzzled by those extra bits of Swine Trek playset" Pizza
Just out of interest: how many people who have the Kitchen playset will also be getting the Chef figure when it comes out?
I can appreciate that the figure makes the character more accessible to those who didn't/couldn't get the playset, I'm just curious as to how many ppl see a reason to buy...
OK, so the online blurbs for the backstage playset say that it can house up to 15 Muppet figures, so this just begs the question: Which 15 will live in yours?
If/when I get it, I'll probably wait until it's there in all its glory before make any final decisions... and a bit of playing and...
Initially, there was to have been no new Kermit or Ernie material for that reason, but the two characters were to have a life outside of SS in whatever projects Henson had conceived for them and would have their old material live on through re-runs. It soon changed its position on Ernie, and the...
The most tragic thing is that, when Kermit was appearing on SS and was also seen on TMS, there was a common link. People would know that the characters were somehow related, and that the definition of "Muppet" was somehow extended beyond TMS.
A friend of mine told me that she asked her...
That was Dustin Hoffman?! I remember the film, but haven't seen it since long before I knew who Dustin Hoffman was
Just to clarify, is it the one where he talks about where all his bits of make-up come from, and they show the reverse-film technique where the make-up goes back into the...
Just noticing the numerous eBay auctions on which accessories from the Sesame Street Little People playsets are being sold for big bucks to people who want their sets to be complete.
So, how likely is it that twenty or so years from now, people will be going on eBay (or whatever it's called...
Hi,
The url you gave wasn't showing the picture, but sniffing around on Google, I found the pic you were talking about
The sketch in question was from Sesame Street's first season, and photos from the sketch were featured in The Sesame Street Book of People and Things, which was published...
