The Closing End-Credits Theme: Where Can I Get This?

Did you know that only about half of that song ever got heard on TV? Theres a long portion before where they always started on the show. I have the complete song (I found it in bits and pieces from several different sources and edited them together as an mp3... the sound quailty varies from...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Old School DVD

Yeah Sally was particularly cute in that episode. You could already see her star potential (she was played of course by Matt Robinson's real daughter Holly Robinson Peete, star of such shows as 21 Jump Street). Greg

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Old School DVD

That's correct. You'll find that to be the case on another of the closing credits (season 1 is the only one that has that edit.) And to whomever mentioned Little Jerry and the Monotones, they debuted in season 2. Greg

Listen, My Brother was the name of the group. Greg

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Old School DVD

I must point out something. I never said that the Counter of Numbers sketch included that ending in the review. Phillip added that when he edited it. I'm of the belief that that ending is urban legend, so I didn't mention it as being edited. Listen My Brother was an ensemble music group of...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Old School DVD

I have discovered that it was a character from some of the animations done for the show by Cliff Roberts. (Think Jasper and Julius.) Greg

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Old School DVD

Another couple notes. "Going to the Zoo" on the set is possibly the first Twiddlebugs sketch. The animated introductions might get annoying if you watch all 5 episodes in one setting, but they aren't too bad. They are very brief and humorous. Alphabet Soup is the animation where the little...

I got it because I am a freelance DVD reviewer (having previously worked for several websites including The Digital Bits) Greg

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Old School DVD

It needs to be pointed out that I have found an easter egg on disc 1 consisting of a small little photo galleries with some conceptual drawings and a couple behind the scenes photos. I don't want to spoil anybody's fun in finding it though :-) Greg

To answer your questions: 1. I'm not sure. 2. Yes that's the one. 3. It's the one where they show how a plant is grown, with Bert as the plant. 4. No. Greg

Old School Sesame coming to DVD October 2006

The pitch film is complete - Kermit and Rowlf are included. And yes, it is the sketch with the Yip-Yips and the telephone.

    Noggin cuts on Episode 1

I will go ahead and warn so that people aren't too disappointed that "Whistle a Happy Tune" is included on the set, but the AMs singing "Consider Yourself at Home" has been cut... the scene simply ends after Gordon has finished dressing them. Also missing from the set is the Bach song performed...

    Noggin cuts on Episode 1

Yes, but the Episode #1 page lists all the sketches in the uncut version (widely available on the trading circuit and for viewing online at www.museum.tv). What did Noggin remove? Greg

Old School Sesame coming to DVD October 2006

I don't know who said Pinball Number Count would be included. It is definitely not on this set at all. All of the bonus clips are from the first five seasons. Greg

Old School Sesame coming to DVD October 2006

I have gotten a hold of a copy (got it today), and I can confirm that fact, and each season premiere is accompanied by a clip section featuring clips from that respective season. I will be writing a review for this site, so expect that soon. I'll hold off on revealing anymore details and just...

Old School Sesame coming to DVD October 2006

From what I understand, SW has the ability to use anything they've already done with Kermit. They simply can't use him in anything newly produced. Greg
