Great clips showing up lately, thanks to the uploaders! Quick question... is anyone able to point me in the right direction of obtaining the full episodes that have recently turned up? I did manage to find the season 1 shows that turned up last year. Thanks.
Chip had another cameo in the full version of the pilot... continuing the running gag that he can't remember which Muppet production he was in.
"Was I in Muppet Treasure Island?"
Just watched the full 10 minute pilot (as I work for an ABC station) and it was pretty funny. The online trailer pretty much gets the gist of it, but it works better in its full form. Probably some of it will end up getting reworked into the first episode of the actual series. Can't wait til fall!
If anyone here has a membership to the Television Production Music Museum Vault (www.tvpmmvault.com), they just posted the full original closing theme. And it sounds incredible.
According to Warner Home Video's press site, the bonus disc is a 5-song CD. The songs are Eensy Weensy Spider, The Wheels on the Bus, If You're Happy and You Know It, I've Been Working on the Railroad, and ABC Medley.
As for the episode numbers, the original purpose was because of the special Teacher's/Parent's Guides that accompanied the series, laying out specific activities and lessons to go along with each episode. The episode number being displayed on screen was so you knew which lessons/activities to...
There are actually three shows on here that are from a 5 episode series (Puerto Rico, Big Big Goes to School, and Echo Rock.)
Snuffy was seen by the adults in 1985 (so if there's an Old School Vol. 4, expect it there), no idea on Alphabet Chat, and Mysterious Theater didn't debut until 1989.
Here's the content info from Warner:
Includes 5 full-length classic Sesame Street episodes:
Sesame Street Goes to Puerto Rico
Big Bird's First day of School
Big Bird and the Birdwatchers
Big Bird Goes to Camp Echo Rock
Snuffy and Gordon run the NYC Marathon
Plus a jam-packed 110 minutes of...
And they'll be singing one of their most well-known songs too... be sure to tune in to find out which one! (The Muppets won't be on until the 8am EDT hour, by the way.)

According to that, it was episode 3272 from 1994.
The street plot was also apparently repeated as part of 3571 in early 1997.
I feel like The Hub would be the best place also... considering it's run by Margaret Loesch, who a) ran Marvel Productions when Muppet Babies was in production, and b) ran Jim Henson Television for a time and helped put together The Odyssey Channel (which did run Muppet Babies IIRC.)
The Hub...
I wonder if putting it on something like Playhouse Disney or The Hub would be the best way to test the waters on if the show can still be popular before hitting the DVD market.
