Holy crackers!!!
Well, I know where I'll be April 1st...and I know what my 4 VCRs will be doing in a specially sequenced progression!!!!!
WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
:excited: :excited: :excited:
What makes you think these are part of a series? I have all three and that was never made apparent to me...
If it is, I'd venture to say "Muppets on Puppets" would probably be one of the three...
I'm fuming at the thought of that! That is too ridiculous for words; the creator of the characters that enabled the show takes a picture with one of his puppets, then a company buys the show and wont let that picture be used.
So many choice words come to mind.
Jeeze, 7 years? Cuh-razy...
My fondest memories are those of the common concern felt during the initial shake-up at EM.TV. Everyone coming together, discussing the future, worrying together...it was pretty warm for the internet, and definitely a pull-through in that tough time.
I'll never...
You could say that again!
(Ya don't have to...but I mean, you could, ya know? :D)
That paired with the constant shake-ups within the last 4-6 years (EM.TV, the Valentine affair, Sesame Workshop taking SS, the Henson kids buying JHC, now Disney...) makes being a devout Muppet fan an awefully...
I think I concur with that. From what little I've seen of the show, it wasn't something worthy of the Henson name. And KSY..I don't think I'll go into that here. :boo:
I'm all for that type of thing...sounds fun! I don't know what the performers' contracts stipulate as to guest appearances (being that I'm sure they'd consider even a small thing like this a guest appearance due to its organized nature), but if it is possible, I'm there.
As for the FR DVD...
With the amazing amount of other elements supposedly included (ie. the original British airings with the extra scenes, hopefully originally-aired episode openers/themes, etc.), I think its safe to assume they aren't going to be included.
Not only that, I'm not sure if Disney even owns the...
"Apax Partners said Hit was "uniquely positioned in the global market for pre-school children's entertainment" with a history of developing "breakthrough characters" and a strong distribution platform."
...though they seem to be lacking in that department when it comes to some shows...
:p...
Wow...talk about Disney going the extra mile for Muppet fans! It seems like just about everything a fan could ask for is packed right in there!!
I can't wait...thanks Mickey! :D
Simple economics; cost of production (in this case, the convention) vs. projected returns. Disney, like all corporations, does not want to lose money.
If the petition was HUGE (ie. 100,000-200,000 signatures), it might turn a few heads. But it just isn't a practicle thing to shoot for. I...
If 30,000+ people can't get FR on DVD by now, you think a petition is going to put an extremely costly convention into the works?
I'm sorry, its just too much to even dream about. It would be more worthwhile to petition to the Disney Co. to have one of those mentioned theme days (a la the...
"Lost" cartoons are generally features that were either not released to the public for whatever various reasons, or those which were released at some point and then never released again, thus rendering them "lost" from the common person's accessability. This is the same as some television shows...
Alright I just saw the actual episode...pretty funny. Dr. Teeth was voiced pretty well...
The funniest part was Janice on Howard Stern, heh.
Definitely a worthy parody. Unfortunately its one of the best things the Muppets have been in in some time :(
Off Topic, sorta:
I met John Landis in a local movie theater after seeing Team America. His son was friend with a friend of mine. Cool guy...his son is a little whacked...
I really hope that Frank finds great happiness in turning out these garbage films as the Muppets whither away into disrepair.
I did like "The Score," but not enough for him to have left the Muppets in order to do it. And then I mean...that's about it. I was extremely let down when...
Alright, now I'll take the Jareth, and throw in an Aladin Sane while your at it, aye? :D
Seriously, amazing stuff man. I was FLOORED when I clicked that Skeksis castle link. I'd buy one of those in a hot second if you put some up for sale ;)
I'm watching Sesame Street after an unnecessary all-nighter.
The show is, without a doubt, still the greatest educational show of all time. Hands down, the level of quality on Sesame Street in terms of education has been consistant since its origins.
However, with the recasting of...
