yeah the cost is so low now that I don't mind using it to test out new ideas

I just keep it rolled up in my studio. I only order 5 or so sheets at a time so it's not an insane amount to store. It only takes up about as much space as a 40yd roll of Antron

and yeah its more than twice the size of the sheets at Joanns and about 1/4 the price

they shrink wrap it, it's tiny when it comes. then you open the box and let it explode lol

I got some adhesive felt last night and made a test tattoo, I think I'm going with it!

yeah I'm thinking I might have to, either that or make the tattoos our of felt and glue or stitch them on to the fleece

Has anyone ever tried to paint/tattoo/use sharpies on Antron? I'm working on a puppet of my Tattoo artist and I'm trying to figure out the best way to tattoo it. I tried shaving it down a little and using sharpies, they work just okay. I'd like to find a nicer solution. Anyone have any ideas?

I order my foam here. http://www.foamdistributing.com/products/poly.html The quality is great and it costs about 1/4 of what Joanns charges. This way I don't mind testing out my ideas with it. I always end up using it anyway.

I use gasket rubber for all of my mouth plates, I absolutely love it!! it's firm enough to hold it's shape with no problem and pliable enough to get some great expressions

I use Rit dye on white Antron. Tan mixed with pink, orange or yellow make great skin tones. I sell dyed Antron as well. Take a look at my site if you like. www.cjpuppets.com

When I do Antron, I usually use Tan and Petal Pink. That one looks a little more on the orange side though. I also offer custom dyed Antron on my website. www.cjpuppets.com

Here's my latest puppet. He's a WoodElf, antron fleece, faux fur and his vest is made of silk leaves. He still needs a little work but he's almost done.

3 seems to hold it just fine, you could use 4 if you wanted to. I just buy the small snaps at Joann's Fabric and sew them on
