I have drawn a few pictures in the past that I wanted to share. Not the best, but I think they're kind of fun.
First off, I thought I'd take a whack at drawing my namesake. I drew it, scanned it in, and then it looked kinda cool while I was trying to fill it in, so I left it. Then I went...
I don't think I'd like to see a new Muppet Babies project, necessarily. However, DVDs would be fantastic! I hope they're released to DVD eventually. It deserves that, at least.
There was a lot of Muppet Babies merchandise around not too long ago. I got a Baby Rowlf doll out of it. They must...
It'd have to be very tongue-in-cheek to even work.
When you think about it, there have been times when the Muppets come right out and tell you that they are puppets. It's like them saying "we know we're not real, but we're going to entertain you anyway." To have them suddenly believe in...
SCENE TWENTY-ONE
INT. CAVE - NIGHT
The pirates have all gathered around the mountain of gold. GONZO stands on top of it, behind the treasure chest. KERMIT is being dragged to GONZO by JOHNNY and SAL.
KERMIT
Uh, hey listen, fellas. I've been thinking. Ya know, I never believed violence...
Hey, Zack!
I finally got directions to this place. About two hours away. Not sure what night I'm going, but I'll be there! I've always wanted to see this.
How's the production going?
By the way, is this a community theater thing? I checked out the website... that place seems really nice.
It's about time someone said it, monsieur prawncrackah! Agreed with every word. The Muppets have been in top form lately. The performers are doing wonderfully, and I think Jim Lewis and Kirk Thatcher's writing has been magnificent! I'd say their work could even be compared to the greatness of...
SCENE TWENTY
ON THE DAUNTLESS...
JACK and PIGGY are now safely aboard. It is crewed by LINK, SCOOTER, ANDY, RANDY and several other PIGS. ROWLF is also on board, and PIGGY is talking to him now...
PIGGY
But, Daddy, we have to save Kermie!
ROWLF
Who? Who's Kermie?
PIGGY
Kermit...
The Muppets are still writing mail to Santa? What are they, four?
This would sound much better as a Sesame Street special. Unless it were done as a sort of parody of the old, cheesy Christmas specials, like KISS Saves Christmas and that.
SCENE NINETEEN
EXT. ISLAND - BEACH
JACK and PIGGY climb up onto the beach. JACK looks back as the Black Pearl sails away.
JACK
That's the second time I've had to watch that man sail away with my ship.
PIGGY
How could this happen? To me? I'm supposed to be the star of this movie...
SCENE EIGHTEEN
ON THE BLACK PEARL...
The Pearl is slowly sailing away from the doomed Interceptor. All of JACK'S crew, with the exception of KERMIT and BEAKER, have been tied to the mast. JACK himself is simply held back by SWEETUMS. JOHNNY and SAL are guarding them.
JOHNNY
Go ahead...
I've heard people say that the Devil was the first puppeteer (with the snake), and puppetry, therefore, is evil. Bunch o' balogna there, but some people believe it.
The Muppets have those personality flaws because it's our flaws that make for good comedy. At the same time, as you...
